(i had two different doctor check up before having all the test) and when im dont on my 14 days drinking prevacid its never been severe and not everyday pain. so i decided not to go back.. after 3 weeks i have all the pain again... especially if i eat something like coffee or tea. and i try to drink prevacid to help the pain and it work out after 30 minutes.
i would like to know what the best thing to do and what are the food i should be concious of eating..
My daughter also takes pentasa and WAS taking prevacid. The prevacid didn't seem to help her and our GI switched her to prilosec. My daughter has had no complaints with the prilosec. Both prevacid and prilosec have the same actions so they do the same things. The only interaction that I know of with prevacid and penicillin is with a type of penicillin called Ampicillin and it may inhibit the absorption of the prevacid.

46 is early for colorectal cancer, nausea is not a typical symptom. If pain was from cancer, you'd probably bleed from the intestine. Maybe it's good if you have a hemmocult test for hidden blood in the stool.
She saw the doctor today and he told her to stop the iron supplement and gave her prevacid to see if it is due a stomach problem. Today she took prevacid and ate again. Tonight, she is again after eating having the same problems. We checked her blood pressure right now, it came out very low 80/60. Is this good because the drug is working ? or bad and should the drug dosage be reduced ? or is this a sign of her actually getting better and be able to be off the drug ?
I had a Barium Swallow, and reflux was found, but no hiatal hernia was found. She prescribed Prevacid, which I have been taking for several months now, and said I should take a Pepcid AC before exercise.
This method has been working much better than anything tried before. But I feel like I am completely dependent on the Pepcid for relief (as it gives me far more relief than my rescue inhaler). I'm not sure how much is too much of the Pepcid.
I am 22 and have just found out I have kidney disease. I do not want to tell my family, because I know they wouldn't deal with it very well. Is it likely to be easy keeping this from them (I live with them)? I am considering not receiving any treament for now to make extra certain family don't find out.
So according to test results, I have no kidney infection and no kidney stones because according to my doctor, kidney stones will show some trace of blood in my detailed urine exam.
Also note that during the episode of my back/kidney ache, my chest pain was very little to almost gone. Although they came back a little bit but not to the point that i would go crazy.
But I followed up with my primary doctor and she told me that I should just take the Prevacid and not worry about the xrays and such. That acid reflux is "normal" and Prevacid will help it.
And it did. Or maybe I was thinking it was.
Until I ran out of it about 3 weeks ago.

Hi recently I had pain on my adominal, usually the pain is on the right upper abdomen and the pain seem to move to lower left and right. I haven't did my kidney function test yet but I already did liver function test and my ALT is 9 U/L does this low ALT indicate that I have kidney issues?
Im very sick and cant get anyone to help. The symptoms are definitely suggestive of kidney disease. You should get an ultrasound kidneys and kidney function tests done to confirm the diagnosis.

Obviously, he has severe anemia and no amount of iron will fix this kind. I have never heard of chemotherapy for kidney disease or kidney damage. I have kidney damage (kidney disease) due to an autoimmune disease. Kidney function is at 26% now, up from 20%. Autoimmune disease is in remission since I had all the mercury fillings removed from my teeth.
I would encourage both of you to talk with his endocrinologist about looking into possible changes that can bring his a1c levels well down below 7. That truly is his best protection not only against kidney disease, but against other complications. If sugar levels are maintained at near normal levels, damage cannot happen.
I have a 14 year old cocker spaniel who was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. She originally got sick a few weeks ago with pacreatitis, and when she recovered her lab work showed the kidney problems. We have been giving her fluids every other night as well as the epakitin powder with her food. Her blood report was better this last time. However she seems pretty good, has a good appetite ect and I'm wondering if there is anything else that could be causing this disease?
