The bloat has been back with a vengeance, and today something different has been happening. My stomach/abdomen started hurting in the lower right area, coupled with gas pains.
She told me to take prevacid once a day no matter how I felt and to avoid OJ and tomatoes. So I did and it helped. I switched from prevacid to DGL and that helped as well. Then I started to feel a dull pain under my ribcage on the right side. It would come and go. Never sever, just annoying. Still have it on and off. Also have pain in my right flank area. I had an ultrasound done of my liver and it was fine. Could it be the gallblader or could it still be gastritis?
I felt great afterward until early october when I began having burning like pains in my upper abdominal area, hunger pains, heartburn, more fequent bowel movements with excessive gas. I was given prevacid for 4 weeks and been tested for the H. Pylori virus via urea breath test which was negative. My CT scan was normal except for a few small kidney stones and my ultrasound again revealed the same 3-4mm size gallbladder polyps.
I Believe smoking to certain people more than others can be a very harmful and as for me I exercise very steadily and sing and I do a lot of breath control exercises for my singing and play drums very hard and I still lightly smoke cigarette and sometimes while I am active I get a arrhythmia it lasts for 3 or 4 minutes I feel my heart is pounding so fast I could even feel my heart beat in my throat and sometimes I get a panic about it and that will make my heart even go faster but I notice that
That indicates that your food may have not been fully digested yet (due to lack of gastric acid) and sitting in the intestines and fermenting, with gas as a byproduct.
Also, if you have low gastric acid, there's a good chance you may have SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) which also causes gas, bloating or burping etc.

And belching. For the next week, I tried Xantac and Gas-X (to no avail). Everything I ate caused more gas pressure/pain.
On Friday, I went to a nurse practioner who recommended Prevacid (30MG). I went for it and Saturday and Sunday felt SO much better (minus some dizziness and lower bowel pressure yesterday). This morning, I took my Prevacid (3rd day) and got SO dizzy and SO nauseous. 30 minutes later, I threw up a little bit but not much at all (more dry heaving and a bit of bile).

Have you had a breath test for H. pylori done?
46 is early for colorectal cancer, nausea is not a typical symptom. If pain was from cancer, you'd probably bleed from the intestine. Maybe it's good if you have a hemmocult test for hidden blood in the stool.
I discovered I have a hiatus sliding hernia and gerd/acid reflux. Had endoscopy less than a year ago. On prevacid 60 mil. still symptomatic. Burping gas- regurgitation etc. My question is ...recently- I began having pressure to have a bm while eating? even after going. feels like I never went.. I'm having intestinal sounds and rumbling all the time and will have 2 or 3 bms a day. They have been softer but normal no bleeding....no weight loss other than 3 pounds at the docs office last week.
In december I started experiencing acid reflux and got ill. I started having stomach pains that are sparse and bad gas. This has continued till now. I have nausea but that seems to have gotten better. My tongue is constantly white and I always have a sore throat with mucus. I have bad acid reflux about 2 times that has lasted for about 3 days each and within that time i have felt it come up my throat.
1 month later I had been suffering the pains for at least a week. Called my doctor who advised me to start prevacid. after a few days and no relief at all, off the ER I went again. Ekg came back fine, had ultrasound of gallbladder, fine, blood pressure is always fine. Kept overnight and monitored in telemetry unit. Also had an ehco done. this showed mild enlargement of heart. all blood work was normal.
sometimes it feels like alot of gas is built up in my system and is pushing on everything. i do take prevacid and gas x to help. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. the more i stress out about something worse it all seems to feel. that pains in my chest are dull and almost that same feelings and a sinking in my stomach but in my chest. doesnt change with breathing and doesnt change when resting.
I have been to the hospital a couple of times to try and diagnose why I have continous stomach gas and shorness of breath. It is making it very dificult to get any rest. At one point they found fluid in my leg and went on Lasix. Now I am on Lasix to remove the fluid they found with the echo gram around my heart. I also had a cat scan and no blot clots are present in my lungs. The GI doctor told me that the best he can do is keep me on Prevacid for my gas issues.
Hi I'm six weeks and whenever I lay down to sleep I get these really bad gas pains I've tried sleeping propped up on pillows and trying to use the bathroom before bed but nothing is working I'm exhausted from

I have been taking Nexium 40 mg one time a day for the past two months and the past week I have been having gas pains in my chest. I can feel the gas bubbles moving after I eat and stays around for a long period of time which is very uncomfortable. Is it ok for me to take Gas X along with the Nexium?
I'm having horrible gas pains at night the last two days..I can't even sleep. I feel like my uterus is contracting. I'm 13w 1d. Anyone else go through this. Tips hints help??
