871965 tn?1241833146 You can call an OB office to consult a prenatal nurse to see what prenatal vitamins they recommend, or ask your local pharmacist. Also, eating lots of vitamin rich vegs (spinach, all dark green vegs) and fruits (oranges, kiwi, all dark berries, bananas) will help naturally provide you with most of your nutritional intake for these vitamins. Happy Conceiving!
Avatar f tn So i visited a friend today and she looked at my prenatal vitamins that i had with me and was surprised they didn't have dha in them. She gave me some dha vitamins and recommended that i take them and continue to do so. My dr didn't mention dha. Am i alone in this?
Avatar f tn but after reading the label one bottle has dha, epa and omega 3 fatty acids, while the other bottle has all the other stuff like vitamins c, d e, folic acid, iron, copper etc. does this mean take both pills each day? have you seen this before? can you overdose?
Avatar f tn Okay can someone tell me what is in the prenatal vitamins? I looked mine up and couldnt find the ingredients anywhere, I tosses out the papers that came with it too I am just curious Anyone ?!?!
Avatar f tn I have only heard that you should talk to your doctor about any extra vitamins you take besides your prenatal. I have wanted to take garlic gel pills and omega 3, etc but I haven't because I don't want to worry that my baby is getting too much of something. They sat your body will filter out extra stuff, but its better to be safe rather than sorry.
Avatar f tn You should be taking prenatal vitamins (they contain folic acid).
Avatar f tn I want to switch my prenatal vitamins and was wondering does it matter if they both have the same vitamins in them
8464451 tn?1409883976 What brand of gummies are they?
Avatar f tn It makes me feel bad for forgetting them but my Dr told me that the vitamins are for yourself because the baby will take all vitamins from your body reguardless if you take the vitamins .. she also told me that's why I stay so tired because the baby takes all my vitamins and nutrients so I have no energy..
Avatar f tn Is it normal for the prenatal vitamins to make your stomach feel like butterflies?
Avatar f tn Hi, Ladies. I got some info from my doctor recently and wanted to pass it along. As we know, Omega-3 is supposed to be really important for the baby. But my doctor is not convinced that prenatal vitamins really help (who knows what's really in them, right?) and believes in going to the source for the nutrition I need. During my last visit, she turned me on to flax seed, which you can get in the natural foods stores.
Avatar f tn I always take prenatal vitamins before I got my BFP and Omega 3. This time around O I took a baby aspirin for a few days instead of the Omega 3 since Omega 3 is also an anti-inflamatory. Then after a few days after O, I started taking Omega 3 again with my pre-natal vitamins. I still do.
Avatar f tn I actually recommend you asking your doctor if he/she can prescribe you a prescription prenatal vitamin. They contain a low dosage of stool softener and you will not have to deal with constipation due to the iron in the vitamin. They also tend to have each and every vitamin, mineral etc that you will need plus the perfect dosage. You wouldn't have to look for certain needed vitamins, most store bought prenatal vitamins actually do not have all the recommended vitamins, minerals etc.
Avatar f tn Just wondering what's available nowadays when it comes to prenatal vitamins, what kind are you taking? Do you like them? I take nature made with DHA, so far I like them!
Avatar f tn Can I take my prenatal and a omega 3 supplement or would that be too much vitamin intake? A list of what I should be taking would be great!
Avatar f tn One of my prenatal vitamins have DHA but no iron, and the other has iron but no DHA...The one with iron has a little higher percentage of vitamin C as well...which one should I take? If I take the one with no DHA is it ok to takr Advocare Omega Plex supplement on the side? Or should I take the vitamin with DHA and take iron on the side? These have me confused!
Avatar f tn Due to the fact that the prenatal pills are really strong and make me sick. They contain omega 3+dha, folic acid as much as 3 cups of spinach and vitamins a c and d.
581359 tn?1454006442 So we are going in on Monday for our next one, I will be 6weeks 3days so we should see something. Anyway my question is what Prenatal Vitamins are everyone taking? We were on vacation when we found out we were pregnant and I didn't have any vitamins with me so we got OneADay Women's Prenatal over the counter. I have been taking them for the past two weeks and got a prescription for Primacare One from a local Dr. I don't know how good of vitiamins they are.
Avatar n tn You can take materna prenatal vitamins. You can get them from any drug store. That's usually what the doctor will suggest taking throughout your pregnancy.
359321 tn?1278268890 MY RE told me to use the prenatals at the pharmacy but someone just told me that they have heard horror stories about the over the counter prenatal vitamins, she said they do not include a stool softener so they make you really constipated as opposed to the prescribed. Is anyone taking the over the counter vitamins??
