Avatar n tn I used to take my prenatal pills during the day or in the morning and I would always be constipated or have diarrhea, it was never normal. Until one of ny friends told me to take my prenatal pills before going to sleep. This helps, now I go to the restroom regularly and comfortably. Hope this helps.

Also, eating lots of vitamin rich vegs (spinach, all dark green vegs) and fruits (oranges, kiwi, all dark berries, bananas) will help naturally provide you with most of your nutritional intake for these vitamins. Avatar f tn I didn't take vitamins. Prenatal vitamins made me sick. Take a prenatal vitamin if u want, and the Dr. Should have done blood tests to see how good Ur iron and everything is. I wouldn't take anything that the Dr. Doesn't tell me.

I want the best but c'mon thats expensive enough with my fertility medicines.. Does anyone know of a cheaper brand I could tell my RE to prescribe me that good also?

Avatar n tn If you are unable to take due to nausea, try taking at night before bed... prenatal vitamins (frolic acid especially) is very important for brain development in your growing baby :) good luck!
Avatar f tn Try a more natural/organic prenatal. I take Rainbow Light prenatal with DHA and I only feel nauseous if I take it on an empty stomach.
Avatar f tn I think the prenatal vitamins in pill form were making me constipated. The gummies don't have that effect. Meta-mucus works great, but trying the gummies could also be preventative.
