The pain got much worse and I was not feeling myself so I stopped taking the premerin and opted to try a product I found on line called Amberen, so far that isnt doinganything for the hot flashes and night sweats at all but since stopping the premarin my legs are not bothering. You had a hyster for an ovarian cyst? Was it cancerous? Was there another reason why they gave you the hyster? Have you had an ultrasound done recently? It is possible to have Ovarian remnant syndrome and a cyst has grown back hence the weight gain however it could be something totally different. Are you having any abdominal issues?
So she told me to have a Premarin 0.625MG and deviry 10MG. Premarin should take from 5th Day till 25st Day and Deviry from 19th till 25th .. After three month the size of uterus has not increased much so Dr suggested us to have 2 Premarin . But she is not having her period from last three Months.
Could you please suggest whether she took Deviry 10Mg to get her period back..

What are the reference ranges on your FT4 and TT3? Ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.

I don't want to quote anything I've read, but after putting in "Premarin and Hypothyroidism" and "Progesterone and Hypothyroidism", the articles I've read indicate that Premarin prevents the thyroid from working properly, and Progesterone cream is beneficial. I just wanted to mention this because it may be of help. I am going to look into it further myself.
in 84 and was on vivelle patch for most of those years. Just estrogen and no progesterone. I was fine until a few years ago and it just got worse. I became so estrogen dominant and became a total mess. I went to a very good hormone imbalance seminar a few days ago and it was great. I think if you went off, you'll regret it in time. There are so many symptoms with low or no hormone production.
My doc tested my progesterone level and it was 3.0. He put me on Clomid 100 mg and Premarin 0.3 mg. The next blood test my progesterone level was 0.9. Now he has put me on Metformin 500 mg twice a day. I am not over weight, in fact I am almost under weight. I was just wondering if anyone else had had their progesterone level drop the second month or if anyone had any advice.

OK, so I went to the doctor because I initially had discharge (lasted a day or two) and itching (alot of itching) and a few small bumps on my labia mostly and vaginal area. The doctor did a culture and blood test. The blood test came back positive for herpes (1 and 2 I believe) the culture came back negative. The doctor gave me premarin cream....which wasn't working.
I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. I took myself off of Premarin in July 2016 and I feel so much better. My hair is now growing back after losing about 3/4 of it during a Lupus flare-up that lasted over 7 months. My muscle aches are gone and my blood counts are now registering normal.
I am not sure if this is normal with exercise and weight loss, but I exercise 1-2 hours a day for 5 days a week. It is mostly 1 hour of cardio (eliptical or treadmill) then 30 - 60 minutes of weight training. For the last 3 months my resting heart rate in the morning just waking up is around 20-32 bpm. I am very fatigued, and sometimes light headed. My grandparents on both mom and dad's side all died of heart disease, my mother had a widowmaker bypass in November 2006.
He did not prescribe any type of progesterone for me to take but told me to go ahead and take the Premarin. Advised me that I should see a gyn--which I already did and they did not test my hormones at all. I have terrible hot flashes every day, insomnia, anxiety and mood changes. Can I use Premarin cream along with a yeast medication(Diflucan)? Does the moisture in the Premarin cream keep a yeast infection from healing?
It seems odd to follow fibroid surgery with estrogen HRT (premarin and estrone are both types of estrogen) since estrogen causes fibroids to grow...
You should call your doctor and ask when your period should start.
I'm surprised your doctor did not tell you to use protection (condom, diaphragm) until you are ready to get pregnant since Premarin does not prevent pregnancy...

My husband & I have been married for 35 years. I'm 56, he is 58. I am so frightened to have intercourse, we haven't had any intercourse since I was 50. Mind you, I take care of my husband's needs, I'm starting to feel as though I need to have a release, climax. I have heard w/age, women's skin gets very thin and I am scared of ripping myself. My husband can be gentle with me, anymore I'm at a loss. I'd LOVE to be able to resume our once great sex life.
