To the OP - the thirteenth week is part of the third month, and part of the first trimester. Once this week is over and you hit week 14, you will start the second trimester and your fourth month of pregnancy.

I know this has been asked a bunch of times. Does the third trimester start the 27 week or the 28 week?

Even though this app counts the 27th week as the third trimester I count the 28th week, because that is what my doctor is counting by. I am finally in the third trimester! I can't believe it! I'm happy lol. Hopefully this trimester will go by fast so I can meet my handsome son. :) For those just about or already in the third trimester how are all of you feeling? Have you started doing kick counts? How is the time going?

Some things we have read say that the third trimester begins at the START of the seventh month-week 25. Some things we have read say that it starts at the END of the seventh month-week 28. I can't remember from my first pregnancy if it is the 2nd trimester that is 4 months or the 3rd trimester. I'll ask my doctor tomorrow what he considers the start of the third but I was just curious what anyone on this site thinks.

So they day the first and third trimesters are horrible and the second is a nice break in between. And I am sure I'm about to agree. I hit the third trimester tomorrow (27 weeks) and am already uncomfortable and over it haha the second trimester wasn't a walk in the park for me but have to admit it did end up getting better than the first. But in the last week I have become increasingly uncomfortable, frequently urinating, lack of sleep and heart burn has been kicking my butt!

Just wondering when your third trimester officially starts? I thought it was 27 weeks but my little arrow on the app is past the pink line, so what does that mean?

This is my third pregnancy. I have had sickness through out every one, every day, all day. And with this pregnancy I'm 27 weeks.

First trimester I was tired on and off pretty minimal though my job was highly demanding though. My second trimester-nothing. Third trimester so far- back aches on and off, no bh and im 37 weeks (almost 38) and gace only jusr started on and off cramping the past few days. I dont even 'feel pregnant'.

One more week as of today and I will be in my third trimester. Time is flying and yet moving turtle slow at the same time. I have gained just under four pounds and baby weighs two pounds one ounce as of yesterday at my ultrasound.

t stretch anymore ik it can and is prolly stretching but it just makes me think if this is how the first few days before the third trimester then is it only going to get worse ..how has anyone else been doing on their third trimester??

when would you ladies consider the third trimester. This app goes by 26w6d which is mathematically correct but my doctor goes by 27w which I will be Friday. If you break the 40 weeks down into each trimester the second starts at 13w3dvand the third at 26w6d but what do you consider to be the start of the third trimester?

Im going in for an ultrasound at 34w. But only because i am high risk and to check the size of the baby.
