Avatar f tn I was told by my OB that my headaches would subside in my second trimester....but they're getting worse. And it's down into my neck. I almost think its a pinched nerve. I've called them to see about med I can take or something but still haven't heard back. Any tips or advise on how I can get rid of this pain. Its crippling. My head hurts, my eyes hurt, my neck hurts, all of it.
Avatar f tn I am 6 weeks w. my second pregnancy too. Till yet didn't notice any different symptoms than the first. Let see. I am curious also to see if it will be similar to the first or different in term of symptoms.
Avatar f tn I don't know how your first trimester was but I just turned 12 weeks Friday and mine has been terrible I'm a mother of three boys and I never had any of the symptoms I'm having now I eat anything my vitamins make the nausea worse I'm constantly tired and all smells make me want to puke.
9798995 tn?1407136289 So most women say that they start feeling better entering in the second trimester. So I'm praying it happens to me also!. I'm only 13+2, but the ending of the 12th week into my 13th seemed like the worse. My body has been so sore I've been so constipated, even though I drink endless amounts of water. So many headaches, and I just feel like I want to lay down all day and not do anything. Did you start feeling better entering your second trimester?.
Avatar f tn I have had alot of headaches with my second pregnancy too. (A boy) mostly second trimester. i think mine stem from tossing and turning at night or the way i sleep as i wake up with them. Try drinking more water maybe. Hopefully they go away soon!
Avatar f tn I had extremely bad headaches almost every single day in my first trimester and sometimes I still do now in the second trimester but nothing like the first trimester.
Avatar f tn I think the farther along in the pregnancy, the harder! My first trimester wad easy! No sickness full energy! My second trimester was good until I got to the 3rd trimester im currently 30+1 weeks and I'm so tired, pee all the time! Can barely get out of bed! Can't bend down and pick stuff up! I actually cried today when I was picking stuff up , because my bf wouldn't! Im done being pregnant!!!
Avatar f tn I actually don't get them that much but my doctor told me it's a pregnancy symptom as you hit your second trimester.

Avatar f tn Im in the beginning of my 2nd trimester and im getting consistent headaches daily. They will go away with tylenol but come back after it wears off. What to expect when expecting reads its s common symptom just curious as to why. Any info helpful!
Avatar f tn I got awful headaches and migraines in the first trimester and first half of the second, but they do go away. Just so many hormones rushing around you! Hope you can get shut of them soon!
Avatar n tn I didn't get many headaches in my first trimester but I'm getting them almost on a daily basis in my second trimester. they're so bad I've been throwing up and they last for days. Tylenol doesn't help at all. I'll take a zip lock bag of ice water and lay in the dark. Or I've used tiger balm but you can't use it to often. I'm desperate to find something that can help get rid of these headaches because they're debilitating.
Avatar f tn ve had them off and on most of my pregnancy. They seemed to become more frequent since I started my second trimester. My doctor said it's normal. I'm almost 18 weeks.
Avatar f tn I had them in the second trimester with my daughter and it was awful. They lasted (for me personally) from 16-21 weeks and I could hardly open my eyes it hurt so much. Try laying in a dark room with a cool cloth over your eyes. It also wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor about it to make sure there are no underlying conditions.
Avatar f tn I am also 15 weeks. It is normal, I get them too, and I am still extremely exhausted. The only thing that changed for me in the second trimester is the nausea is gone. I think every woman experiences things differently, but hopefully you get some relief soon :) if they're extreme headaches I would tell your doctor at your next appointment.
691236 tn?1311199974 Oh, and big congratulations on moving into your second trimester! That is such a big milestone. I wish you a healthy and happy remainder of the pregnancy!
3109932 tn?1347067940 When i started my second trimester i started getting headaches. Do i need to drink more water or is this symptom normal during pregnancy?
Avatar n tn this was me too!!! I literally NEVER got headaches before pregnancy, then BAM! when i hit the second trimester, they hit me hard like a freak'n freight train. I swear my head was going to explode and the doctor's kept telling me to take tylenol nd i wanted to punch them in their ugly faces cuz i was already doing that and drinking water. but now, i haven't been getting them so bad.
Avatar f tn I thought when you get into the second trimester, your energy begins to return and you feel better. I'm so tired lately it's just as bad as the first trimester. I'm 15 weeks and I am still getting naseous time to time. I am so exhausted. Does anyone feel like this?
Avatar f tn I got them really bad at the beginning of my second trimester, I wet a washcloth put it in a zip lock bag and froze it then I put it on my head where the headache was and that worked our really well for me. Or sometimes I would drink like half a cup of coffee and the caffeine would help.
1214758 tn?1320478086 I am 13 weeks and have a killer headache right this very second. Some women experience headaches in their first trimester. It is normal. Cold compress may help. If you feel the headache getting worse, lie down. I personally take Excedrin, which has acetaminophen and a bit of caffeine and it does the trick. Doctor says it is safe. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I am officially in my second trimester! Everyone says pregnancy ***** but I feel great for the most part expect being hungry alot and peeing and being tired and sore. But nothing else.
Avatar f tn Everyones pregnancy is different. For instance I had nausea and fatigue in the first trimester and heartburn in my second. Some people don't even get morning sickness so if you don't experience it or other symptoms it's okay.
Avatar f tn Headaches are common during pregnancy due to the increased volume of blood your body is making for your baby,i get what your describing too like tension headaches, not something to worry about but do always mention it your doctor if your worried or if they get really bad i would go get it checked it just to be on the safe side
492921 tn?1321289896 So I have made it to the second trimester the so called "honeymoon stage". How far into the second trimester does it take to consider it the "Honeymoon" I am still running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. The neausae has actually gotten worse this last week. When I try to eat meat I want to puke. I'm on an antibiotic so that doesn't help with the neausea. My prenatals kill my stomach. I am always eating!
Avatar f tn Anyone else's head POUNDING since they've entered their second trimester? Mine won't stop, I'm 15 weeks and it's almost unbearable. Tylenol isn't helping at all, and I'm constantly laying down in a completely dark room trying to get them to go away.
Avatar n tn Its very VERY normal. During the second trimester they call it the honey moon phase since you don't really have that many things going on. I didn't start showing with my first pregnancy until about 6 months along so not showing this early isn't abnormal at all. Also headaches are normal because of all the hormonal changes going on it your body. Congrats on your pregnancy!
