I had my period on 21st July which lasted 5 days which is normal for me I have an average 35 day cycle so I ovulated round about the 30th July. My next period was due 14th August. It has not arrived I'm now 5 days late I've had no bleeding, minor cramping and a touch of backache. A online pregnancy calculator calculated if pregnant I would be 4 weeks pregnant by now. I've took numerous pregnancy tests, different brands and all have come back negative. Any one else had this problem?

depends how long since your last period. if you just missed your period, then you're about 4 weeks. But some women can still get what they think is a period and actually be pregnant, so you would need an ultrasound to confirm which most doctors wont due till 8 weeks, which they base off of your last period. With a positive test, time to call and schedule an apt with your obgyn! Congrats!

You can get a blood test at 3 weeks but if you can hold out it is best to wait until your missed period. I too feel pregnant. I had my daughter last year and I really feel like it but Im not going to test again until after a missed period.

I would recommend taking a home pregnancy test. I never spotted when I missed my first period but my boobs got really sore and I had an increase in urination the week I was "supposed" to start my period. You should take the pregnancy test. My period was 4 days late when I thought I was pregnant but I didn't take one until it was a week late just so I wouldn't get a false negative. But you haven't taken any medicine that would throw off your period I would take one just to be sure.
