Avatar f tn I have read in multiple magazine articles and websites of some signs of labor approaching soon one of the things on the list being diarrhea. I read that because your muscles are relaxing in your lower abdomen area, it also causes your intestines to relax causing diarrhea. Another thing that I read is "nesting".
Avatar f tn Will I cope with my studies while pregnant. I registered 3 subjects for next semester. I've been studying well during my 1st and Second trimester. I'm on my 3rd now (33 weeks) and I can't do anything. I am always tired. Should I just cancel or it will get better after giving birth in February because I'm only writing my exam in May next year?

Avatar f tn I'm planning on cloth nappies as well. I've found a company that was featured in a baby magazine and won an award, they're $12.99 AUD each and to set up is about $399. I'm planning on using flushable bamboo liners as well, just to pad up for runny bowel movements. Depending on your country, I'd check the local stuff first, or stuff that ships within your country, just for a better deal overall. If I was getting nappies from the states, it would be closer to $600 AUD.
12399567 tn?1425074210 Don't over pack or you will forget half of what you bring. One outfit in newborn and 0-3 months just incase, a special blanket, Vaseline to put on the babies butt (it helps get that first poop off easier if you put it on before hand), 2 diapers and wipes dr the way home, if you want a pacifier and socks for the baby.
Avatar n tn I've heard that it helps transition the baby's breathing easier gives them more stem cells - higher iron and better immune systems- and usually only takes 1-2 minutes for the cord to stop pulsating. This is my fourth and I've never heard of it so I am curious if others have any experience with it...
Avatar n tn I have asked a question last week,But maybe I didn't say clearly so I didn't get the answer. So I have to post another question ,I am sorry. I am an Chinese and this is what happened to me: One day I went to a small hospital with two magazines to do test for HBV .The result was negative but this was not important..When I waited there I touched some liquid in the hospital and then touched the magazine so I took the liquid to the magazine .
Avatar f tn massage oil, a nightie to wear in labor, something to drink and snack on (you may or may not be able to eat and if the kitchen is closed it's good to have something light on hand). Just things that will help you get through it more comfortably.
628735 tn?1273875777 You know thats funny I was in Sprouts today and I got the magazine 'Remedies 'that Sprouts produces they have a big article and it is all about the same, it states Try a blend of EPA and DHA at 250mgs for ages 3-6 and 500mgs 7-11 1000mgs for age 11 plus also stating that instead of reaching for Ritalin or prozac consider if they are getting enough magnesium.says the author of Magnesium Miracle" Carolyn Dean MD ND some interesting stuff that I am going to digest.
Avatar f tn thanks for the help ladies i passed on your messages and she was very grateful and I've told her to read that magazine LadyM84 thanks think i will too sounds interesting! I also thought that i still produced cysts when i was pregnant and that only happenes when i ovulate so starting to think it maybe possible.
Avatar f tn I have been taking Oxycontin, previously with backup Oxycodone for about 2 years (spinal surgeries, and brachial plexus nerve damage). I have taken it throughout my pregnancy, (now 7 month) under the guidance of my respected pain management physician - tapering down from 80 mg/ day, to now just 15 mg per day. I have not had withdrawal symptoms, just increasing nerve pain as I taper off which is making life extremely difficult.
823825 tn?1265071431 and I certainly refuse to advocate drug use during pregnancy, but years ago I read this article in Mothering magazine (which is highly proclaimed) and I thought I would pass along the link. I never had morning sickness, thankfully, but I know others who have and have used this remedy to help keep the food down and said that it was a God-send and the only thing that worked.
Avatar f tn comfy clothes, comfy socks, boxers for hubby, & cell phone charger. Point is.. don't overpack because half tags stuff u bring, u won't use. They give you a toothbrush, toothpaste, and after your baby is born all you'll need is some warm comfy socks, a comfy nightgown & you're baby. Trust me. & a camera, or ur cell phone for pictures!
1528695 tn?1360582320 I think a few weeks before my baby is due i might get a little doll that cries and rub it with lotion and stuf so it smells like a real baby and act like it is a real baby so that the dog gets used to the new boundaries. That way im hoping its not such a shock when the baby comes! Thats just my idea though. Google it, i found loads of info on the net, just cant remeber some of it! Good luck.
1528695 tn?1360582320 I agree with Joy about not having to give pets away unless they are violent or somehow they effect your baby in any way. Like allergies or sometimes cats have issues with smothering babies but you don't have to worry about cats I guess. I think it's true that they sense it because my boarder collie followed me around obsessively when I was pregnant but it's odd because now he doesn't pay any attention to our baby. He'll come up and sniff every now and then but that's it.
Avatar n tn My sister also has hypothyroidism and has 4 children ranging in age from 4yrs to a newborn. My only concern for you is that your antibodies are postive. I have heard that this may cause a miscarrige well into the second trimester. You need to talk to your endo about that. Once you become pregnant, your endo will keep a close eye on your levels and adjust you synthroid as needed.
Avatar f tn m taking a trashy romance novel and travel scrabble for in the beginning (to distract myself), music and a framed ultrasound picture so I have push motivation once it's go time. Oh, and lollipops! My hubby bought himself a chocolate cigar to eat once the baby is born.
1365668 tn?1277946866 I know I was emotionally eating about a month before I got pregnant and then also into the first two months. I eat a lot of fruit, I love fruit and rice and veggie and I make sure I eat protein and calcium, but sometimes I eat naughty food. And I also was a total sloth the first two months, I was too tired to move, I slept all day, I'm only now feelling a bit more energy.
9842459 tn?1411688168 My baby was 10 so never really got to wear any of the newborn sized clothes that we had bought our been given. 0-3 is the next size up.
