You need to contact your OB. Vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration which is bad in pregnancy. Please make sure to check in with the doctor and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Very common so is constipation u will go bk and forth lol welcome to pregnancy.

I am so glad that thi squestion was posted because I have been experiencing the same thing. I am now 7wks and 1 day and I have dairrhea at least 3 times per week and I am constipated the other times. Also I get extremely thirsty so I drink a lot of water.

m 13 weeks pregnant and have the symptoms of a stomach bug including nausea and diarrhea. I have not had any morning sickness with this pregnancy and the prenatal vitamins did constipate me for the first week until my body got adapted. I'm not feeling all that hungry but i'm still taking the prenatal in the morning. When i do eat, I'm running to the bathroom. Has anyone else had this issue? What are some suggestions to help feel better?

Only if you become dehydrated because of it. Drink lots of fluids.try electrolytes line Gatorade or powerade. Small sips very often. Take Imodium, it's safe during pregnancy. If it doesn't stop, go to emerge so They can check your hydration levels and check baby. Don't stress. I got horrible diarrhea during week 30 my last pregnancy. I could lay down. It was for 48 hours! Just awful! But Imodium eventually worked and baby was fine.

Im just turning 38 weeks pregnant and this is my first baby..and since tuesday ive had sleepless nights due to back and what feels like period pains and i have not eqten hardly a thing from no.appitite... I recently found out I am 4 weeks pregnant and starting this morning at 5am I woke up throwing up and at the same time having diarrhea. After not being able to stomach toast or water and having it still go on for a couple hours I called my doc.by this point I was throwing up stomach acid so hard that I had to be on the toilet with a bucket because it all came at once.

I had pregnancy induced IBS with my last pregnancy, and I couldn't eat anything without having to immediately run to the bathroom and spend an hour in the bathroom. The cramping was excrutiating and it was miserable not being able to leave the house or eat anything. I was sent to a gastroenterologist and he had me take a half an immodium before eating and gave me a prescription for bentyl, which calms the intestinal cramping.

Yes I had it in the beginning of my pregnancy and at the end, 2 weeks w both, everyone is different, make sure to drink plenty of water!

Maybe you are eating something that is irritating your stomach? I had a bad bout of a stomach bug a few weeks back. You just want to make sure that you stay hydrated. So drink lots of water or even a power drink like powerade or gatorade. I'd get to the bottom of it though, maybe it's something you are doing before you go to bed. Make sure you don't get contractions at the same time. If that happens, call or see your doc.

Did anyone have diarrhea before going into labor? I hear it's like your body cleansing itself to make delivery easier. No other symptoms, no nausea, no vomiting, no fever. Just diarrhea. How long after did labor start?

I havent had any symptoms really my while pregnancy and I am about to be 39 weeks in 2 days. however I did have surgery 9 years ago and got 3ft of my intestine removed so maybe thats why I havent had symptoms. I am more constipated than normal during this pregnancy though.
