so im nearly day 9 now and dont feel too bad at all apart from the odd sneeze.i used pregabalin for the pain and zopiclone too sleep at night.i live in uk and doctors here were i live are strict so we managed to buy a few here and there from street dealers.i know i was only on a low dose of subutex but i would preech to anyone to try this out if u can when about to start a subbie detox.thanks azza..

I was in the same boat and I don't know if this will work for you but it did for me. I got on lyrica 100mg. It's non narcotic and helps withdrawal. I think it's actually for fibromyalgia or nerve pain not really sure but I got shot in the face and jumped a year later and they hit me in the jaw with a sledge hammer and it works good for me.

Anyway I had already taperd of the night dose by cutting it and was on the half for the last 3 weeks (only for night dose) And before two days I have stopped the night dose fully. Having only morning dose .I Also having Tianeptine for depression and Pregabalin for pain (but not helping with pain.I think it will help for my Alpra withdrawal on 7mg-0-75mg).After skipping the night dose ai am having depression and pain .Is this normal?

Hi, so I've been using gabapentin for withdrawal from hydromorphone. I used the hydromorphone to get off of fentanyl which Id been addicted to for 2 years. So I badly tapered of the hydro, and have been self medicating with gabapentin to nullify my withdrawal symptoms (about 2400mg 2x a day is what I've found at this point works best after establishing a tolerance).

I have come of it once before but then replapsed, btw I didn;t get much withdrawal on it - I did however take pregabalin and lorazepam during the w'd I am currently on 12mgs of Espranor, (25-30% move biovalability than subutex)

And condoms work -- some contact of the penis with vaginal fluids always occurs above the condom or during withdrawal and doesn't increase risk. Has anyone heard of Pregabalin (lyrica) for bipolar or anxiety? - my doctor wants me to try, but I have not heard about it before and would like to know if anyone here has tried it or knows anyone who has. Because I am a chronic pain patient and also a recovering addict...I would like to clarify a few of the differences between Lyrica/pregabalin and Neurontin/gabapentin. They are "similar".....but also have some major differences. They are both medications that need to be titrated UP when you first go on them.... meaning to gradually increase your dose. Likewise, when you go off of either of them, you must wean yourself DOWN.

I am back on Effexor (which was hell to taper off of), and pregabalin and fighting hard not to take too much pregabalin to ease the withdrawals. Hi i wondered if anyone could explain there experience of Pregabalin (Lyrica?) i have been on Gabapentin for the last 3 months with only a little success (the twitches have reduced considerably) but no relief pain. no it is not arthritis.....my question is....what will happen if she combines the methadone and the pregabalin?...she takes methadone about every other day...a bottle of 130mg methadone will last her almost 5 to 6 days....any info would be helpful.

Anyway just before we went, I had an dr. appointment. In short he is changing the Gabapentin to Pregabalin which he is asking my GP to over see when I'd returned from holiday. Also did a blood test for sarcoid, as I have had eye problems, he felt this was unlikley but wanted the test done. If that is negative he is refering me to a specialist for botox which will help the TN pain. So I have returned to find a letter from my GP to go and see him as soon as I return from holiday.

I can guarantee not only will your pain come back, but you will so miserable! I take its cousin, pregabalin, for nerve pain in my back, and occasionally I run low on them and you would not believe how many aches and pains a person really has until they quit a drug to help all that. It is a fairly mild drug, however, so it's not like you won't be able to function, you just won't be a happy camper.

t spoken to my Dr yet as the surgery has been shut over Xmas and I did expect evrything to calm down since increasing the Pregabalin, am currently visiting my lovely stepdaughter for a few days (sitting with my feet up and playing with her laptop) I am seeing my neuro in a few weeks but am wondering if I should visit my Dr again as at this rate I doubt I will be back to work next week - the Hospital did mention putting me on a steroid drip and then changed their minds - is this the way forward?
