can anyone tell me what Lyrica is and Savella, in england Lyrica is a company who make a drug called Pregabalin,thats what i am on now,been back to doc 2day and he has give me a larger dose of pregabalin.

Yes 396 is too low. Under 500 should be considered deficient. You want to be closer to 1,000. Are you taking B12 supplements? You can try B12 Methylcobalamin sublinguals or spray to raise levels. Stay away from Cyanocobalamin, it's a cheaper version in most vitamins and not good. Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin taken together are supposed to be helpful.

Have lost 22kgs in 7 months. I am taking Fomatidine, Rifaximin (for last 8 days), Methylcobalamin 500mg (Only today), B Complex, Multi vitamin, Digestive Enzyme (last two days), Probiotic. Hi i wondered if anyone could explain there experience of Pregabalin (Lyrica?) i have been on Gabapentin for the last 3 months with only a little success (the twitches have reduced considerably) but no relief pain. Now the Dr is going to swap me to Pregabalin which has to be done slowly to switch from one to the other, so this will start as soon as I'm home from holiday. no it is not arthritis.....my question is....what will happen if she combines the methadone and the pregabalin?...she takes methadone about every other day...a bottle of 130mg methadone will last her almost 5 to 6 days....any info would be helpful.

Thanks for that, Tuck. I've had a look through PubMed database to see if there have been scientific studies specifically on the question of tolerance, but without joy. As far as I can tell, the main assumption/claim is that because pregabalin is not known to be metabolically active (ie, the liver and body don't metabolise it into other molecules) the patient shouldn't develop tolerance. I am now a bit more sceptical of that claim.

I am taking hypothyroid meds. I have consulted ENT doc and they prescribed prednisolone, methylcobalamin inj. for this. From last week, I have seen some improvement but not at all cure.
