I have been taking Lyrica for over 15 years. It helped with chronic and diabetic nerve pain. I have gone from 500 a day down to 200 a day. I cannot sleep at night, gained weight and have severe itching and may have suicide ideology. If there is another drug you can take, take it.
I'm 21 and male. I was having arm pains which was caused by neck pain for bad posture on computer desk. So I went to the GP (general medicine) and he said the pain is for the neck, and it will go away and asked me to do some static neck exercise and swimming and prescribed 'Pregabalin m-75' to take for 1 month and stop.
i am on 185 mg of venalfaxine i have been on 50mg of pregabalin twice a day before that 25mg twice a day since 21st may feeling not to well tummy trouble and so weak how long will it take to work thankyou
Anyway I had already taperd of the night dose by cutting it and was on the half for the last 3 weeks (only for night dose) And before two days I have stopped the night dose fully. Having only morning dose .I Also having Tianeptine for depression and Pregabalin for pain (but not helping with pain.I think it will help for my Alpra withdrawal on 7mg-0-75mg).After skipping the night dose ai am having depression and pain .Is this normal?
So my GP prescribed me static neck exercise, swimming and prescribed to take Pregabalin-M 75 (Pregabalin-Methylcobalamine tablets 75mg) For 1 month and then stop. I took 5 doses yet.
But I'm having this following side-effects - dizziness, sleepiness whole day, lack of interest and and concentration, bad mood, sexually charged dreams, erection problem and lack of libido or interest in sexual desire.
I have a high libido by default. But I'm not feeling it since I took the medicines.

Several years ago I developed severe itching, which over a few months spread. It started on the left side below my shoulder blade (notalgia paresthetica), then my scalp, then on the edges of my face, then on my left lower back. Scratching felt good but didn't relieve the itch and irritated my skin. Topical creams didn't help. My dermatologist said my (otherwise sensitive) skin looked healthy.

Last week I started adding 100 mg of tegretol to my other TN meds (pregabalin and gabapentin) at night. I noticed the next day I was exceptionally groggy. I was also having a lot of muscle pain and weakness (very pronounced at times), particularly in my legs. I also developed pretty pronounced dry mouth, and was also having a problem with slurring my words more. I initially was scared that it was an exacerbation but then realized the sx came on the morning after starting the drug.
A combination of low dose amitriptyline (10 - 50 mg at night) plus gabapentin (300 - 1800 mg per day) or pregabalin (50 - 600 mg per day) produces the best pain relief with the lowest incidence of side effects. (taken from some site I don't remember)

The treatment for neuropathic pain (pain coming from nerves) includes gabapentin and pregabalin, and medications such as elavil (which is an antidepressant but has actually been found to be helpful with neuropathic pain as well). There are other medications, but these are typically the first line.
It is important to keep in mind that the treatment of neuropathic pain takes time to get the doses of medications to an optimal dose.
The only anti anxiety medication iv been on is pregabalin,was on it for over a year but it didnt really agree with me.im currently taking fluxoteine 20mg x 2 a day and cinerazine.Im looking for a anti anxiety drug to help stop this dizziness that iv had for over 2 years,im not looking for a "fix" but something to help me while i battle this anxiety and agoraphobia.Have you ever been on buspar?
