I went to the doctor, and she put me on a z-pack. I finished the pack, along with taking albuterol for breathing sessions. I still have a cough, and went to a walk in today, and the doctor thought I might have bronchitis or pneumonia. I usually take prednisone for my breathing difficulties. Will this help with the possible broc/pne? She suggested 5 20mg. a day for 7 days. Has anyone had an experience like this? I am leaving on a cruise Sunday, and do not want to be sick.
After finishing my Z pack and see only a little improvement I went back to him and this time he prescribed me a Medrol pack. It helped with my breathing but not completely. I know there is still something wrong.
I finished my medrol pack but coughing and difficulty of breathing is still there. I have night sweats when I started Medrol and got a tinge of blood in my phlegm twice so he ordered chest xray cause he was thinking that I might have TB but chest xray is normal.
I am on the following medications. Robaxin for my back, prednisone for my back, z-pack for a sinus infection and that is it. I was wondering if any of these medications can cause the slower than normal heart rate and if this is normal. on new years eve i had an ct angio done, a ekg done and blood work done which tested for tropinin and they said that everything came back normal. I dont feel bad otherwise and i dont know if i am just working myself up for nothing.
(I have lots of sinus infections, have had surgery on my sinuses, etc.) Doc gave me a z-pack and prednisone. Suggested I try Claritin or zyrtec to see if allergies are triggering all of this. Claritin is helping a lot with the post nasal drip, but now the junk in my chest seems tight and I have a dry, unproductive cough. Should I try mucinex to loosen up the chest and continue with Claritin?
I see a lot of people asking about z pack curing chlamydia/gonorrhea and the common response is “It has to be 1g at once to work.” I’m confused by this. 1 g is 1,500mg. The typical z pack is 1,500mg total over the course of 5 days. 500mg on day one and then 250mg the next four days. So my question is, why would it HAVE to be 1,000mg of z pack at once to work rather than also 1,500 over 5 days?

He prescribed the following 3 meds for me: a z-pack, cough syrup with codeine, & prednisone. I took my meds everyday & never missed any dosages. By this past Tuesday, July 14th, but by Thursday, July 16th I felt terrible again.

So I went to the doctor cause I thought I was getting pneumonia and the Doc had me do a PFT (which was low at 70 percent) and a blood O2 test (94 percent) and said that I had bronchitis and put me on some prednisone and a z-pack. After I finshed my meds I still felt the same. So I set up another appointment and right before I went in I started to feel better but my tests only showed I improved ten percent.
four weeks after being stuck with a bloody needle my doctor put me on Z-pack (azithromycin) antibiotics and gave me two decadron shots. Will being on a antibiotic delay the production of HIV antibodies. will two 4gm shots of decadron delay the production of HIV antibodies. also at nine weeks i have another rapid test conducted and that too was negative. how reliable and accurate are these results. do you think my twelve week test will change. how many people will convert at nine weeks.
I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia two weeks ago. I was given Z Pack. I took it. It seemed to work for a couple of days then the symptoms returned. Doctor gave me another Z Pack. Same thing. It worked for a couple of days and then the mychoplasma returned.
Question 1: Why did Z pack not get rid of it?
Question 2: I'm on Doxycycline now. Will that get rid of it?

I do have a prescription for an inhaler in case all of the others dont work. The NP I saw basically said it can hang on for months and not much she can do. I need to sleep and I need to stop. With my job I need to be able to be on the phone and I need to work. I cant seem to when all I do is cough.
Was prescribed a Z Pack taken in the 500mg first day followed by one 250 a day for respritory issue. NO change in penial symptoms. Along Ive had diarhhea for four months since this began. Never any discharge except a miniscule amount of clear one time. After a while the penile symptoms subcided. Went to doctor for the urine and diarrhea. He ran stool and urine sample which were ok. I went to the doctor about a week ago when my symptoms were at its worse, intense wheezing, especially at night, runny nose, cough, and sneezing, that what was pretty much all I had but the wheezing was the worst part (I could hear myself breathing). I took her to the clinic to get tested and they ruled out BV even thought her family doctor assumed it was that. They insist that she has chlamydia and she gave it to me. They gave her a Z pack as well. Im just worried because i took my z pack on tuesday and im still having discharge. I drank a beer or 2 with my z pack later in the evening because i didn't know i could take alcohol with them. Now i'm wondering if the z pack didn't fully work on me.
I have read that the risk of contracting an STD is low and that I should get tested, but is there anything that can be gained medically by taking a z-pack to try and prevent an STD from taking hold in my system? I expect you will tell me to wait to see a doctor first, but can the z-pack be used to keep an STD from developing before symptoms are noticed?
I was very sick in December and was prescribed a five day dose of azithromycin in the form of a Z-Pack. I was recently told by someone I had sex with that they tested positive for gonorrhea. I have had no symptoms and it has been over two months now. Is there a possibility that the Z-pack effectively treated the gonohrrea?
Why is it that taking oral antibiotics (leviquin, biaxin and now Z pack) seem to give me spells of palpitations--rapid/pounding heart beat? Prednisone 10mg is the dose/composition of the medication to be used. And the prednisone pack gives the instructions on how best the medication is to be taken.

Z-pack antibiotic for a the esophagus problems in case its infected, Prednisone for immflamtion in the airways an breathing problems! Gurgling sounds you say having,sounds like wheezing if so Albuterol Inhaler and Symbicort Inhaler for Wheezing.
