It would be my second pregnancy and I had PUPPS in the third trimester of my first pregnacy and after reading others who have broken out in an odd rash as early at 4wks I am hopeful this is a sign I could be pregnant..I hope the rash doesn't stick around long if I am...very annoying.
Usually the second and third trimester is easy as flares usually affect the first trimester and the period after delivery. Hope this helps. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history.

Luckily it cleared up on it's own in March 2010. While in my third trimester I again broke out in a full body rash. In November 2011, 2 months after my second son was born, I again broke out in a full body extremely itchy rash with plaques. In January 2012 I went gluten free after I started feeling not well when eating. I had conflicting results as to if I am actually allergic to wheat/gluten. Initially I felt great but then being gf didn't seem to make any difference.
My doctor told me I could take any cold medicine by tylenol nothing with ibuprofen in it. But like I said I'm in my third trimester so it may be different for u. Call ur doctors office n ask.
and I am desperately trying to figure out why I continue to break out in hives and have joint pain in my elbows, feet, hands and legs. I too started breaking out in hives after taking the antibotic Solodyn for acne. After a trip to the ER, it was assumed that I had an alergic reaction to the medicine. I stopped taking the medicine after only 3 weeks and needless to say, I am still breaking out in hives and have joint pain. I have been tested for allergies and that was negative.
Besides, in my mind the minor risk that might be associated with this vaccine certainly seems better to me then getting this flu. I am just going into third trimester, and there is no way I am not going to protect myself as much as possible. All the "cons" I have read seem to have to do with gov't and pharma companies having some big conspiracy going, and well, call me crazy, but I just don't buy it. MInd you, I also believe Elvis really is dead.
For the first two trimesters, my RA seemed to go into remission and I didn't need any treatments - which was a MIRACLE! Now I'm starting my third trimester (I'm 27 weeks) and I am starting to have ALL SORTS of complications with my joints. Pain, swelling, can barely move. The reason I'm posting this here is because my OB says it's okay to give myself a shot of Enbrel, but my Rheumatologist says it's not. I don't know why there is a discrepency in their opinions and what I should do.
The onset of this rash is usually the third trimester but it has been known to appear in the early post partum period. The rash starts on the abdomen and then spreads to the extremities. It is an unbearably itchy rash. Happily the rash doesn't normally spread to the face. After delivery of the baby, the rash and the itch rapidly disappear Treatment of the rash is at best a mask.
I was in the same boat! I went through the same protocol as you did, minus the prednisone. I was surprised though becuase the scale did not reflect my bloatedness. My symptoms tapered off around 7 weeks. I too stopped exercising but have started walking, not the same has my regular routine. However, I'm feeling more comfortable at 10 weeks and think i'll start back soon! Good Luck!

Ive always suffered from minor breakouts in highschool, although it seemed as though i was the only one who ever had a pimple. Years passed just like that, always having a mild breakout of maybe 5 pimples during "rag-time". Then about 3 years ago I went to school for esthetics, where i learned the ins and outs of acne care, and treatment... i was the one who helped people with their acne and skin conditions. Half way threw school it started... everyday i woke up with 5 more pimples...
We tried one more time and I got pregnant for the third time in August of 2009. We thought everything would be ok this time because I was followed so closely. I found out when i was 3 weeks pregnant and I had my HCG levels checked every 48 hours until I made it to 5 weeks. I was seen by a maternal fetal specialist once a week and a high risk OB once every 2 weeks. I had ultrasounds done at week 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and my cervix was also checked.
ive just found out that i am pregnant again, ( a complete shock ) as we werent even trying, we had given up and agreed we werent going to put ourselves through it again. all losses in first trimester no apparent reason as to why, was put on asprin on my last pregnancy but it didnt help. the only thing they found was that i had lupus antibodies, which is dangerous in pregnancy, but she tested me after the loss and the antibodies had gone????
I started having the bad joint pain and wide spread pain, fatigue, and depression in the third trimester of my pregnancy and I just thought that it was due to the fact that I am petite and had a difficult time carrying a 6 pound baby around in my belly for weeks. I have had PFS (patella femoral syndrome) in both of my knees since I was 14 years old due to playing 4 sports for several years. I used to be incredibly active playing basketball, softball, swimming, and track.
but he told me after I get AF to start back on the prometrium and then when I get pregnant start the prometrium 1 by mouth in the AM and 1 in the vagina in PM. Maybe it will help keep me pregnant.
I have read about a condition called PUPPP (Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy) that is more common in the third trimester of pregnancy but not this early (I am now 16.5 weeks and have had since 11 weeks). I would like to ask other women with this problem if they took the contraceptive pill before pregnancy as this was the only time that I had this problem previously?
TMJ' as it is wrongly called by many) is easy to treat and self-manage or that it may all be in the patient's mind. The sources in the article stated that, "TMJ problems were originally thought to be caused by dental Malocclusion but that this was an infrequent cause of the problem". The American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), an organization of some 40,000 of the nation's leading dentist, recognizes the relationship between maloclussion and headaches.
I had no idea the baby had been dead for 2 weeks until I went in for an ultrasound at almost 11 weeks and there wasn't a heartbeat. I am starting to lose all hope. We discovered I have a blood clotting disorder which caused the first 2 blighted ovums so I was treated with heparin and BA along with progesterone as a precaution and folic acid 3 times a day. It seemed to work as we finally had a sac, with a baby, and a heartbeat but a week after seeing the heartbeat the baby died.
horrible pain in my left arm, neck and shoulder area,,(disc bulge for no apparent reason) hyperreflexia both legs were unable to move on their own, i had to physically move them with my hands to roll over in bed, buzzing feeling in my left foot, that comes and goes. twitching left thumb for 3 months, pain in my right wrist to the point it was stiff and i couldnt move it for more than a week, stiff neck for over a month, came on from stress.
I had a baby 9 months ago (at age 42...surprise, surprise!) In my last trimester I was so uncomfortable that my OB put me on the perks. That's when my Blood Pressure skyrocketed as well...thus the HBP pills. Since then it's been a breeze getting whatever I want. I just tell them that I'm in pain (which I was before the Prednisone)...and I get handed this beautiful little piece of paper that makes my life easier and everything run smoother. That easy.
Patients with perinatally acquired HBV infection often transition from an immune-tolerant phase to an immune clearance phase of the disease in the second to third decade of life. In HBeAg-positive patients, seroconversion to anti-HBe may occur during this phase, which may trigger a rise in serum aminotransferase levels and HBV DNA level. Although often asymptomatic, this transition can provoke symptoms of acute hepatitis, occasionally resulting in hepatic decompensation.
Anyone getting ready to start IVF or Fet in October? I feel like these few weeks are taking forever to pass.
Well, it seems many of us on here are in our 2nd or third try..if not more..so at least we know what to expect. Before and after if it's a no go. Ginger, as far as your friend not being a friend, just drop her, not worth it. Once they start betraying you, it's never the same. this would be the reason I don't really have many real life friends, just not worth the drama. :) Glad to be part of the group, we can all use the support especially during our many many try's!
So, i live in a big city in Florida thats always cutting corners to save money, called Jacksonville. I have only been here for a little over three years. Huh, thats about how long Ive had the itchy leg itus.
I have not had one other symptom indicating a possible miscarriage, in fact I feel as pregnant as a woman in her third trimester! I believe I am about 5 weeks pregnant. When I took the first blood test I was just exactly 4 weeeks pregnant, although it's possible I am off by 5 days (previous period was 33 days long as opposed to the normal 28 I am). I'm still having more bloodwork done every 2 days and (haven't received the results) and schedule for an ultrasound in 1 1/2 weeks. So..
I'm getting so excited for your next cycle in August! Oth, Congratulations Mommy! Once again, the third time is a charm... You must be on cloud 9! 51 sounds good...I was told that anything over 40 is great. Please keep us posted Bemy, Hi girl! So good to hear from you again! I feel your pain girl...but it sounds like you are not giving up which is key. I agree with you about taking some time off to cleanse your body. I got a ruptured cyst and a fibroid all because of the meds.
I start sweating in my own house (that I always keep at 60 degrees) and have to go outside in the 30 degree weather with a tank top on. That is if I don't fall down the steps from the dizziness or the shocks in my head. I became extremely angry and irratated. So angry that family members suggested that I go to anger management classes. That was before they knew that it was the Paxil.
My itchiness has been getting progessively worse for the past few years. I'd say almost 3 yrs now. It's to the point where I can't even engage in intercourse with my partner, go shopping or even go out in the sun. I keep hearing and reading how Urticaria, usually has signs on the skin surface but I don't, except for the really bad itchy feeling.
