prednisone in horses

im giving her extra food and she is rugged in field with hayage but it is still dropping off her.does any one have any adivse in what i could do.

I CANNOT DO THE THINGS I DID BEFORE AND HAVE BEEN ON PREDNISONE (ON AND OFF)FOR THE WHOLE TIME.(3YRS.)HERE ARE MORE OF THE MEDS I TAKE. XOPENEX- BREATHING TREATMENTS EVERY 4 HOURS. XOPENEX - INHALER ADVAIR- 500/50 SPIRIVA THEOPHLINE ZANTAC AMBEIN PREDNISONE- (MOST OF THE TIME)80 MG DAILY MEDROL LIKE THAT IS NOT ENOUGH.

I have owned and rode horses all my life. I am having difficulty coping with not being able to ride because ppl told me I cant. Is it seriously that big a deal to ride? I don't want to hurt my baby, but it's literally the only thing I have done for myself and can't deal with giving it up for so long...

he informed me all was well, to not worry because the imuran is what to be taking for arthritis. I was on 5mg of prednisone up to May of this past yr in addition to the 50 mg of imuran. After I was dropped down on the prednisone is when the pain started returning which hadn't been there since the first year of this. It makes me feel somewhat better to know that someone else is experiencing this issue with the joint pain because to be honest, I was starting to doubt my doctor.

I had googled it myself as did my friend but I was hoping that someone here had tried it and I could hear what it was all about from the horses mouth so to speak. As you know there is nothing like the experiences of others to educate us in a way that we can truly understand right?

i horrible, tearful excruciating pain in my inner thighs that i am forced to jump out of bed and i cant lay back down or sit and especially hurts so much i cry and scream with pain every night what is it and what do i do

I am a 47 year old female. I had a history of psoriasis as a child. My rash started in December of 2009. I saw a dermatologist who diagnosed the rash as hives and possible eczema. He placed me on Prednisone 40mg daily for almost 3 mo with little improvement. The rash is bilateral and is migratory. I have used several otc and prescriptions for antihistamines and lotions with little to no improvement. The rash is currently on my upper back, neck, scalp and hips.

It has been about 3 weeks since i noticed it but its not getting any worse. Is there an eye med i can put in it in case there is some infection going on without causing blindness? Also there seems to be a little more watery discharge from it, but he typically has a little watery discharge from his eyes anyway. He is an appy and i know i have to watch for moon blindness but just wondering if he hit his eye or scraped it at some point could the swelling below the eye be a sign of infection?

ve been waking myself up in the middle of the night with a Charlie horse in my leg. Then I usually fix it but then a bit later it'll be my other leg. I know it's not a dietary thing because I take my prenatals everyday and usually drink an organic juice cleanse that has 100% of daily fruits and vegetables in it. Has any one else experienced this while pregnant and know why?

I already have connective tissue spasticity issues and now am getting charlie horses. I woke up with one in my calf a few days ago that was so tight I broke out into a sweat. Last night I had one in my behind muscle and today my thigh. Can this be the chiari too?

got my first ever "charley horse" this morning.. and omg, it hurt SO bad! like my calf is sore now and was on the verge of crying!! until i experience labor pain, this pain is the worst i've ever been in. haha i don't ever want to get one again but i'm sure i will bc it's common during pregnancy. /: any ladies frequently get charley horses and what do you do to not get them?

m 34weeks 0days today and for some strange reason I keep waking up with very painful Charlie horses! Anyone knows why? It slips my mind every time I go to the doctor and I forget to ask her. Thanks.

ve been having charlie horse cramping in my calves that wake me up out of my sleep. They are very painful... and I was wondering if any other moms out there ever had this happen to them. I called my doctor and they ordered some tests stat.

I get them in my calves and omg they hurt! Try eating bananas, it could be a pregnancy thing or you could need more potassium.

Does it work for Charley horses in the stomach? I get horrible Charley horses in my stomach ever since I had my surgery. My husband says he gets them because of dehydration, but I know that this is not the case for me. Ever since my surgery I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. A never drink anything carbonated, 1 cup of coffee a day, but I do have to take Miralax every other day.

It can involve one or both eyes. The affected eye, is the right eye in your horses case. An eye with a strabismus will show excess sclera (white of the eye), and the pupil will appear to be slanted abnormally. m February 2015 I had to restart Humira injections after not being on them for almost a year. I was also put on 40mg/day of prednisone. March 6, I woke up to excruciating pain in legs from the hips down. I tried to take a step and it felt like I was walking on broken bones through molasses. I made it to my bathroom but then no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get up off the toilet.
