Ugh, no, I haven't heard of this. It must be pretty rare. I think you might be okay doing the benadryl and prednisone for the immediate future, but talk to your neuro as soon as you can. You don't want to be on prednisone or any steroid on a long term basis. I'm not sure what else you've tried, but if you've been through all the injectibles, Gilenya is the next logical step, as it's an oral drug. And several others are soon to be available.

White/skin color bumps all over face and neck. Been there for about 6 weeks and just keep getting worse. They itchy badly and seemed to spread daily. I decided to try cutting the dose in half myself and after I took the lower dose within 2 hours I got the same side affects but even worse this time and ended up in the ER again.
