It has read the same since I have been on this drug. Would it be wiser to change either of the drugs or to add plavix? I have been on pravachol for at least 6 years and diabetic only two. Another area I have noticed in your forum, is the effect of caffine on blood sugars. My blood sugars do go up when I drink caffenated products. I can not have products with nutrasweet as they do make me ill. I am limited to what I can drink.

does muscle problems from taking the generic pravachol include a burning feeling in the knees which causes pain when walking or bending knees?

Hello, is the drug induced type normalize after someone stops taking the medication? say...Anti psychotics? Does the condition persist even after stopping the drug? Any other way to explain this? My psychiatrist has me on Lamictal, Effexor, Neurontin, Wellbutrin, and Nuvigil. From my PCP I take Pravachol and Lisinopril. Is it safe to take all these together? All answers are appreciated.

All 3 meds mentioned are class C drugs, which means none have been tested on pregnant women, but have shown to cause defomities or problems in laboratory animals. I would strongly think twice about getting pregnant while being on all of these meds. Ask yourself if the benefits out weigh the risks.

Almost no drug is a "Class A" drug. Most of the safe ones are class B so you are fine. Now , Class C? You should stop. If the doc says its fine then its fine!
