Eight days ago I was diagnosed with pneumonia and given medication that made me very ill. I was told that it would take a few days for the meds to do thier job. On the sixth day, I was in real bad shape. I had sharp shooting pains in my back, right side under my ribs, muscle spasms, and shooting pains in my right shoulder. I could not walk, lay down, or sit with out pain .
My daughter had been diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia and now the doctor says she no longer has it. Her symptoms persist (severe headache, muscle and joint pain, no voice), duration of symptoms is six weeks. Is it possible to get mycoplasma, be cured and the symptoms persist? My daughter is 16yo and has missed 3 weeks of school. Please help!
i have been showing signs of pneumonia lately and also felt a small bum under my armpit but cannot see anything. what i want to know is can the axillary lymph node be linked to pneumonia because usually i hear it swells in the neck? i also was using doxycycline 100 mg and septra for chlamydia. its kinda strange how pneumonia just popped up a while after my chlamydia and cleared up. i am really freaking out im going for a test today.
Mid back MRI had two slight bulges, but the pain management doc says that is not the source of the pain. I have tried meds like Effexor and gabapentin without success. I went to our local urgent care center this past Friday because of strange chest pain and upper back pain that “just didn’t feel normal”. I’ve been diagnosed with lobar pneumonia and was put on antibiotics. It’s been two days (5 doses of antibiotics, so far) and nothing has changed! iam just geting over pneumonia and i have started getting joint pain.
Several months ago, my pain and fatigue got worse. I started having pain in my side. I would have severe itching and pain when I got hot that only lasted minutes. I have had a mild fever, generally 99.5 to 100.3. I have had bronchitis 3 times, pneumonia once, and a sinus infection once...in the past 3 months. I feel confused alot. My blood test show highly elevated white blood cells. First it was my lymphocytes, then it was my neutraphils, then it was my lymphocytes.
When your cd4 falls below 200. You wouldn't have PCP within 45 days of infection.

Post infection, there could be some amount of bronchospasm and this could be causing the problems with breathing. This can be detected by a spirometry test. Have yourself evaluated for the same. In the meantime try to take warm oral fluids and do steam inhalations prior to your meals. This helps to loosen up and bring out the secretions.

My mother was diagnosed at 52 with MS, and none of the treatments seem to be helping. She started getting sick around 45 and was constantly coming down with pneumonia. Recently, I have noticed joint pain and went to my general practitioner. When I mentioned cold hands with a tingling/numb sensation, sharp chest pains when I breath in, as well as multiple joint pain, she suggested it could be Lupus, arthritis, or Raynard's.
Yes I did tell them. The pneumonia symptoms are starting to clear up I don't have a fever, never had a cough, starting to breathe better, and I have a lot more energy but still a bit light headed and throat is kind of sore and my voice hasn't return fully. I have been tested will get the results tomorrow.
I have new symptoms with my chest pain. I have pain in my left arm and shoulder with numbness, and pain in my right arm. The chest pain is still the same. I have pain in my jaw, back, neck, and upper ribs. I also get tingling in my fingers on my right hand. I don't know if these are signs of a heart attack or the symptoms of what my doctor still thinks it is Costochondritis?
Could be allergies, yes once you have had pneumonia you will have scarring ..it wont affect you, check out online for environmental allergies .

I have Epstein Barr and at the moment it is dormant, but I keep getting mostly organ pain, but also some back pain and bone pain. Someone else here mentioned a wondering pain, which I guess is a good way to describe it cause the pain moves around. Is this normal? Does anyone have any diet or exercise suggestions to help with it?
