My pediatrician said at 6 months. NOT in the bottle, they can aspirate it and get pneumonia. From a spoon.
It showed pneumonia in the bottom of both lungs.. I took cipiro for 2 weeks...Felt better now Im coughing bad and coughing up yellow phelghm. New xrays showed nothing.Whats going on? And what kind of pneumiona lives in the bottom of the lungs?

ve had similar symptoms to you, went to the hospital and was put on a strong antibiotic. Things got better for a few days, then seemed to return. tightness in the chest, fever, breathing problems and a lot of fatigue. I looked on a few websites and it seems to be a recurring theme. Some people have had it on and off since christmas. Not sure if you have the same thing, but there is definately something going around with the symptoms you mention.

So my dumba$$ coworker has been sick for more than a week, and today he came saying he might have had pneumonia. Yes I did tell them. The pneumonia symptoms are starting to clear up I don't have a fever, never had a cough, starting to breathe better, and I have a lot more energy but still a bit light headed and throat is kind of sore and my voice hasn't return fully. I have been tested will get the results tomorrow.
Around 9/27 I had the start of bronchitis & was taking some mucinex with a leftover antibiotic. Each day I thought I'd wake up feeling better. Unfortunately each day seemed a lil worse. After a week of suffering I went to urgent care. Apparently just by listening to my lungs, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was put on Albuterol in the nebulizer & Biaxin (antibiotic) & they said continue the mucinex.
Called my primary care doctor and he wants to see me tomorrow to see if I have pneumonia. I have asthma, and am prone to pneumonia. I had pneumonia in my first trimester with my first pregnancy, and lost the baby at the end of my 12th week. I'm kind of freaking out. Having problems with breathing is probably from the acid coming up into your throat and then down into lungs. You should fix this promptly, it may damage your lungs (aspiration pneumonia, with lung scars).
There's another possibility - alergy to one of antibiotics. Would you say you have any lips or face swelling or skin itching?
I was induced at 35 weeks and my son had to be in the nicu for almost a month. His lungs were a bit under developed and he caught pneumonia. If it wasn't for the pneumonia we would probably have been out of there in a couple weeks. He had no trouble eating, just breathing. He was on a ventilator for 2 days, then a cpap machine for a few more days and then he was on a low dose oxygen nasal canulla for the rest of the time.
Could be allergies, yes once you have had pneumonia you will have scarring ..it wont affect you, check out online for environmental allergies .

Has the mum given the baby any baby panadol, or nurofen for babies? That will help reduce the fever, however 5-days with a fever is extremely dangerous! If you can't reduce the childs fever take her to the doctor asap. I'm not a mum but my sister in law is a nurse and has 2-kids of her own. When they've had fevers in the past that she couldn't bring down she immediately took them to the hospital.

He said that I had Walking Pneumonia and gave me different medicine. 6 days later, I woke up at 4AM gasping for air. I went to the ER, had another chest x-ray, and was told I had Viral Pneumonia. I was given different medications (and an inhaler with aerochamber) and sent home. The medicine was actually starting to work until it ran out.

You could have develeped bronchitis or pneumonia at this point since your immune system is weak during pregnancy, I got walking pneumonia my second trimester just by going for a short walk on a nice day when I was getting over a cold : (. But definately drink lots of orange juice and an extra dose of vitaman c to help beat whatever you have.
