Castor oil is a cathartic - it can induce contractions and as other have said can make you vomit or have diarrhea, but it can also make your baby have their first bowel movement while still in the uterus. Which can cause very serious respiratory complications - a newborn with pneumonia is in big trouble. I truly don't think it's worth the risk.
I think probably what would be most painful would be watching your newborn suffer through pneumonia after aspirating meconium and leaving your baby in the NICU after you get discharged. Castor oil can make baby poop in utero which is extremely dangerous. In my personal opinion, don't take castor oil and refuse an induction that isn't medically necessary (42+ weeks or with actual imminent physical complications).
First time, the doctor noted traces of pneumonia in his chest and gave him Amox for 10 days. He was fine for another 10 days and got it back. This time, he got better only with IV antibiotics. He was ok for another 10 months with on and off colds, but this time he developed pneumonia again and had to be treated with oral antibiotics. My son had been diagnosed with pneumonia 4 times in the past four months, as well as bronchiolitis in between. He has been treated with Rocephin, Azithromycin, and Amoxil. He has breathing treatments 4 times a day (pulmicort & xopenex) has had 2 episodes of cyanosis, and been hospitalized for low oxygen satuation, wheezing etc. His pediatrician tells me I shouldn't panic and that he has asthma. He is only 13 mos old!
In most cases, Kennel Cough is more annoying to the owner than it is to the dog, because the dog hacks and coughs at all hours making it difficult for the owner to sleep or concentrate on anything but the hacking sound. 1 if i reguly take a Estrogen pill, will it make my Genitals shrink to nothing, i know taking estrogen pills or using creams will develop breasts as i go, but i am happy for that to proceed
2 Is there any way of shrinking my genitals in any other way, i am thinking of using a rubber ring on my genitals the same way they dock lambs tails
