After a bout of pneumonia including weeks of IV antibiotics in the hospital I came home to more IV antibiotics via home health care. I was also taking anti-fungals having developed thrush from probably formoterol fumarate inhalers. I am also dealing with ringworm. Nothing grew from the cultures taken from blood, sputum, or a specimen from endoscopy.
The pneumonia abated and while at home I felt remarkably better. Then my girlfriend noticed my hair was falling out at an alarming rate.

Gram negative diploccoci typically means gonorrhea but should be confirmed with a urine test or culture. There are other Gram neg diploccoci out there as well.
It's impossible to tell who carrried the STD first unless your wife can prove she did not have any sexual encounters. However, how would you know 100% that's the truth?
It's unlikely that you would carry a gonorrhea infection for that long without knowing, but it's possible. You could have been asymptematic.

since i had read a lot on the forum before i went to the test, i know the proper treatment for ngu is doxicycline or azithromynthin. but my doctor insisted on cefixime for ngu when i told him what i heard about on the internet.

about 2 months ago i had an encounter with a csw, portected oral and intercours, a week later and a huge amount of guilt later , i went to the gum clinic where they took a urine sample and done a gram stain test.
really no reason to think you have a std since so far all your testing is negative and you had such a low risk encounter too. a gram stain doesn't really look for specific std's either, it just reports on abnormal cells present.
at this point, be seen by an urologist for further work up. make sure they examine your prostate too when you are seen.
Where did the doctor say you had gram negative coccobacilli? Or did the doctor say you had gram negative cocobacilli or just the diplococci? If it is only diplococci then you may just have a resistant strain of Gonorrhoeae (GC). That can also progress and give you PID. The doctor should really try to get a culture with antibiotic sensitivity test (though this is not done very often).

If the report says that no intra or extracellular gram negative diplococci were seen, then the report is negative for gonorrhea. By this report, I understand that you have given the swab samples of a man’s urethra (urine canal) or a woman’s cervix (opening to the womb) and sent it for culture.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
