The 2nd Dr thinks my diagnosis mammogram and ultrasound were not very clear, and his findings are most opposed to the 1st Dr. The 2nd Dr found: Left breast: - Calcifications at 12:00 and 3:00 areas, but are not very clear without magnification, and recommended to have a short interval follow up. - Did not report findings at 6:00 area.
Avatar f tn Pneumonia, meaning the purpose of the study is to rule out pneumonia, but for billing purposes the doctor must list a symptom or diagnosis rather than the words rule out pneumonia. Another possibility is that this is a voice dictation error. Radiologists use voice dictation software (similar to the type you use for your smartphone, but more advanced and with a medical focus). This software is not 100% perfect and may generate words not intended.

It is a month after second surgery wound still hasn't closed up CT scans show a tract from uterus to abdominal wall. She also has Septo pelvic thrombophlebitis. Or at least he did not say he was. The final doctor I saw was the regular MD who released me from the hospital.

Avatar m tn since i have been a smoker (up until a few months ago), my doctor orders a regular x-ray annually to watch for any issues, and because i had a solitary pulmonary nodule back in 2010 that was followed for 2 years (thru CT scans) until it disappeared in 2012. Anyway, the radiology report from the xray 2 weeks ago stated: "Chronic interstitial fibrosis without acute infiltrate.

Avatar n tn Based on the information provided it is difficult to say what exactly this "knot" is. It may be a bony outgrowth. This may be an osteochondroma (exostosis) which is a benign growth of bone with a cartilaginous cap. Simply having an xray of your knee done will give you the diagnosis. If you have had it since childhood it is likely benign and nothing to worry about. If you are concerned about the cosmetic appearance you could have it surgically removed.

Interesting that you would have had pneumonia as there is an increased risk of pneumonia for persons using an inhaled steroid. Despite that alleged risk, the benefit of these drugs far outweighs the risk of pneumonia in the majority of persons.

So, your situation is possible. I remember I had pneumonia as a child with the only symptom of vomiting. My mother took me to the hospital and a diagnosis of pneumonia was made based on my chest xray.
Avatar f tn you need to go to the Doctor and find out why you are having trouble taking a deep breath and then depending on what the diagnosis is that will depend on what treatment you receive For example of you have pneumonia then the treatment would be antibiotics and maybe other stuff life steroids and breathing treatments, I'm not saying that's what you have though the only way to know what is going on is to get checked out by your MD Hope you feel better soon
