My pediatrician said at 6 months. NOT in the bottle, they can aspirate it and get pneumonia. From a spoon.
It showed pneumonia in the bottom of both lungs.. I took cipiro for 2 weeks...Felt better now Im coughing bad and coughing up yellow phelghm. New xrays showed nothing.Whats going on? And what kind of pneumiona lives in the bottom of the lungs?

Called my primary care doctor and he wants to see me tomorrow to see if I have pneumonia. I have asthma, and am prone to pneumonia. I had pneumonia in my first trimester with my first pregnancy, and lost the baby at the end of my 12th week. I'm kind of freaking out. Now that I'm in my 3rd trimester, I'm worried about preterm labor now (a lot of websites say it can happen with pneumonia). Any words of encouragement?
I had my first at 34+5, he was in special care for 3wks with feeding issues but it was only because he was so small, we think he had IUGR due to a true knot in the cord! Like comments above, most babies at this gestation are healthy and don't require a lengthy stay in hospital. Don't worry I'm sure everything will be fine.
I don't know what you are allowed to take when you are pregnant, pharmaceutical or otherwise... but I'd suggest making sure you eat well, stay hydrated. Maybe run a hot shower for a while then go outside in the cold (like when babies have croup---gives some relief). I've heard oil of oregano or eucalyptus oil, a few drops in boiling water, your head with a towel over it and you inhale, can help with phlegm.
Prayers but don't stress all babies handle it diff my daughter has respiratory problems when she gets fever it never fails to hit 105 scares the crap out of me but her body handles it my neice had 103 and was a very I'll child anyway praying make sure they test for rsv and ear infections
I had one treatment and caught a cold that many of you knew that I was fighting, well went to the hospital a couple days ago and found out that I had pneumonia. Absolutely unbelievable! The only reason I went was because my whole body hurt and I could not eat. I thought that it was a side effect of the chemo. I haven't worked in about three weeks, and my older kids are helping with the younger ones.
Around 9/27 I had the start of bronchitis & was taking some mucinex with a leftover antibiotic. Each day I thought I'd wake up feeling better. Unfortunately each day seemed a lil worse. After a week of suffering I went to urgent care. Apparently just by listening to my lungs, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was put on Albuterol in the nebulizer & Biaxin (antibiotic) & they said continue the mucinex.

So my dumba$$ coworker has been sick for more than a week, and today he came saying he might have had pneumonia. Now he's just coughing a lot, but when it started, two wednesdays ago, he was feeling horrible and didn't come to work on thurs or fri. she didn't say dr said it caused pneumonia, she said if she didn't get the shot and she ended up with pneumonia her baby could have mental issues or downs. but i say do what you want my dr gave me the option but couldn't get it while sick last time so i'll be getting mine on tuesday bc i did get sick with the flu when i was pregnant with my daughter and it was pretty rough that's for sure.
and a lack of air movement in my lower left lung. She diagnosed me with community acquired pneumonia. I was prescribed Robitussin with codeine to help me sleep, although all it really did was tire me slightly. After another week of feeling completely miserable I started to breath better, my nose dried out, and my cough produced less and less green mucus. Sleeping then was hard, but I was able to take my meds, settle down, sleep for about two hours, wake up again from coughing and repeat.

My baby has been diagnosed with pneumonia, a week ago. She still acts as if she is in pain, and has short rapid breaths. She is on Zeniquin, and a pain med. She was originally in an oxygen kennel for 2 days, and was pretty good when we brought her home. Now it seems like she gets these bouts of gasping for air, her gums are still pink.
I am startin to think her vets arent sure what is wrong with her.
Could be allergies, yes once you have had pneumonia you will have scarring ..it wont affect you, check out online for environmental allergies .
basically i have had a pain in my bk at first i thought oh it will pass but itll just ache n ache but wen i try rubbing it to make it better i cnt find the spot like it underneath the ribcage its so painful then n e heavy movement it winds me then it got worse as days went on for acouple of days till i had enough and went to the doctors it really set in then they said just to take paracetamol wat i was already doing and wasnt touching my pain i then went to hospital because i was really bad i c
Have anyone started feeling dizzy, weak and hard to breath sitting or standing but OK laying down while taking medicine for pneumonia and how long do it last or should I go back to the ER.
I was feeling pretty bad coughing wheezing, bad chest pain. My friend and I diagnosed it as brochitis or pneumonia so I took 7 Levaquin, one a day for 7 days (had it in the house). Still felt bad after a week or so and went to my doctor who prescribed same Levaquin 500 mg for 7 days. My doctor ordered chest xrays and blood work. Blood work was just a little off she said not sure what was high or low as this was told to me over the phone.
Buddy was diagnosed with pneumonia and has gone through a course of doggy antibiotics and 3 courses of human antibiotics. The right lung is full of fluid. He would get better, then be energetic and get worse. It was suggested that he may not have pneumonia but CHF. Is there anything to do to help him. The vet doesn't seem to have any suggestions. Would a diuretic help? He's starting to not eat now.
iam just geting over pneumonia and i have started getting joint pain.
