Avatar f tn This is the first bp med that worked a bit for me, as the calcium channel blockers (norvasc and plendil which caused vomiting) gave me suicidal (that's what they called them) cluster headaches and elevated my bp to 250/135. Avatar m tn I had tons of problems trying 5 different types of bp meds - the worst were the calcium channel blockers (norvasc, plendil) as they sent me to the ER with a cluster headache so bad, I wanted to just die and they raised my bp to 250/135. This was on the lowest dosage of each. I was also vomiting.

Avatar m tn most do still do not use that range. The reference range the lab uses really has nothing to do with the test result. The result is the amount of TSH in your blood, the reference range is simply the range THAT lab uses to determine if your result is "normal" or not. Reference ranges are usually determined by the method the lab uses to analyze a certain parameter - in this case TSH,.
Avatar n tn Which position do you play? Are you someone who uses speed and quickness or someone who uses strength, or a goalie who uses agility and girth? And how old are you? If you're young, you don't want to do anything too rash. Basically, and this is very basic, for strength, you generally need protein, for energy and endurance you need complex carbohydrates, and for antioxidant protection you need electrolytes and lots of colored vegetables.
