Do my own gardening. Rest and pace my self. On Hctz 25mg, atenotol 50mg and plendil 2.5 mg daily. Borderline diabetic. Wt 160# 5' 6" In fairly good health otherwise despite my age of 77. Nerve irritation somewhere? Other causes beside low sodium, calcium and potassium? What other workups do you suggest?

That being said has anyone taken Nycynta ER? Anything regarding this medication would be very much appreciated.

Due to the nature of salt tablets and the way that salt naturally interacts with the stomach you probably want find any Salt tablets that dont cause nausea. I have found the best thing to do is just add salt to everything. Little and often is absorbed a lot better than one big dose all in one go.

My doctor wants me to take one tablet a day of Potassium ER 20. I need to crush it to take it as the pill is too large due to a lap band. I cannot take anything that has a fizz in it due to my lap band. The pharmacist said it was ok to crush it and my doctor knows that I need to do this. Is there something else out there for me to use? A liquid that doesn't fizz? Or is crushing this ok? I crush it then put it in my mouth then swish it down with water. I have not had any stomach issues.

Hey everyone....I am weening off of Ultram and My doctor switched me over to MS contin ER. (Morphine Sulfate extended release.) Does anyone know anything about this drug? I've never even heard of it before. I switched over from the Ultam to the MS and I did not get any withdrawals. Now my doc is slowly decreasing my dose of MS. Any info on this med would really, really be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I hav taken Effexor Hcl 150 mg generic called Venlafaxine HCL ER Capsules 150mg, for years. A new doc wrote for the same medication in tablet form by mistake instead of the caps. Will it work the same for me?

I recently relocated and went to my new doctor (general medicine) on Monday and she started me on Xanax extended release tablets instead of the pop them as you go type. I have never heard of them but she said it is the only type she will prescribe. I have always been concerned with being dependent on Xanax so the pop as you go idea worked well since some days I could get by without any (that’s been a while since I've had a lot going on) or on a really bad day never exceed more than 2mg.

So in order avoid withdrawal and keep the same dosage regimen, I had to take 5 roxicodone 15mg tablets a day for those 6 days which sums up to 30 tablets. Now subtracting the 30 tablets from the 40 tablets I had at day 1 of the PA request, that leaves only 10 roxicodone tablets left until my next doc appointment 18 days away. I should note that I've never called my doctor ever in the past asking for extra medication before, as I've been the responsibile and model patient.

My life has changed so much since 06 ive had two ops now to remove glands that were affected and my neck looks beautiful ha. I think i need to sort the right brand of tablets for me at the mo im on 150 levo which i feel is ok i only have mood swings when it is pmt time so my husband is very careful around me ha. He's right if you go to the ER for nausea they won't do anything, I've done it many times.

So I did went to the ER because of the pain I was having and they told me that I have vaginal infection so they give me antibiotics. ...well and they put me on bed rest because I already dilated 1.70cm....

Xanax has a very short half life, which may be why she opted for the ER. In my opinion, whether taking the ER or the non-ER xanax, if you take it daily you will become dependent on it, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Again, just my opinion. It sounds like the xanax is working well for you so far, I hope it continues to do so until you're ready to taper off of it. Well wishes to you...

hi guys i need to ask you about sertraline ,anxiety drug, my doctor prescribed me at the begining with one 25 mg tablet a day, and after 2 weeks two tablets of 25 mg (50mg ), and after that he advised me to start taking 4 tablets bring it up to 100 mg sertraline a day. i stoped this drug for 2 months and yesterday i decided to take it but the last prescription the pharmacy made each tablet 100 mg.

erythromycin about 3 to 4 weeks later for pimples on scalp about 4 to 5 days after the stopping the erythromycin due to bad stomach upset (going to toilet 5 to 6 times a day) my wrists went very red and sore (worse on right hand) dominant hand and also my hands constant flushing/hot/sore (could not even but hands in jean pockets so sore) Was given antihistamine shot and 3 days’ worth prednisone tablets in ER which seemed to calm skin within a few hours but once they wore off it came back.

I was recently on 30mg of Opana ER 2x a day and then I was allowed to take up to 4 tablets of 10mg instant release tablets for break out pain. I have found that the 30mg of Opana ER 2x a day is helping me tremendously. However, the 10mg tablets for the breakout pain wasn't doing well for me, so the doctor switched me to 30mg tablets of morphine up to 4x a day for breakout pain. I haven't been able to tell the difference yet, but I hope this is the answer to my breakout pain.

With hospitals and ER though I would always make sure to call your ob whenever prescribed something from them, even though they are doctors the are not specialized in vaginas and babies and sometimes things can slip there minds on what's safe or not
