Avatar f tn A month after taking the Astrazeneca I steadily began to loose cordination in my legs and sence of balance. Was in hospital for two days where blood tests were done and a brain MRI. Told it might be vertigo and was discharged with stemetil. Seeing a neurologist at present and waiting on results of a spinal MRI. In the meantime had a blood test and was told that my CRP and ESR levels are elevated. It is two months now since I left hospital and my walking has deteriorated further.
Avatar f tn In the US, we're now being told that if you got J&J to booster it with either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, as they have so far proven to be the most protective and safest vaccines to take. Covishield is India's version of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which is similar to the J&J in both effectiveness and problems.
Avatar m tn Guillain Barre and Bell's Palsy are two neurological diseases that involve paralysis that are linked to the Astrazeneca vaccine. Read Ross Wightman's experience after Astrazeneca - he was compensated because his Guillain Barre was acknowledged as having been caused by the Astrazeneca vaccine.

Avatar f tn The chances of having blood clots as a reaction to AstraZeneca are very slim, and the question of that vaccine interacting with specific regular medications people take, such as Rogaine, might not have been studied. If an interaction between the vaccine and minoxidil is even known, the person to ask about it is the doctor who prescribed the minoxidil.
Avatar m tn Yes, Kenkeith is correct. There have been many filed against Eli Lily & Co & AstraZeneca, as a matter of fact. The lawsuits were filed because the companies failed to warn of the risks involved with the problems Ken has mentioned and also strokes.
Avatar m tn re endorsed by the AARP) and see about buying your drugs over the web. AstraZeneca sells a version of Nexium overseas called Neksium, which retails a bit cheaper. Make sure to tell this to your doctor and show them whatever your receive. While they can't send the perscription for you in most cases, most will understand that cost is a factor.

Avatar m tn Big Pharma Reps Use Disney Characters to Push Antipsychotic Drugs How is this for creative selling? An AstraZeneca regional sales manager allegedly directed the sales reps in her region to use some of Winnie the Pooh’s well-known friends - specifically, Tigger and Eeyore - to promote the Seroquel antipsychotic. http://www.pharmalot.

Avatar f tn (And this is the AstraZeneca branded version. Generics are 1/2 that price.) Note that it can take up to 20 business days to ship, depending on where you are and where the drug is coming from. Note that this pharmacy, like any found in PharmacyChecker, requires prescription. For the record, I just looked up Pantoprazole (Protonix) there and it returned the following list of prices: ~$.37/pill for 20mg Generic, ~$.56/pill for 40mg Generic, ~$.95/pill 20mg Brand, ~$1.10/pill 40mg Brand.

Avatar m tn An interesting sidebar, though, is that the Russian Sputnik vaccine and AstraZeneca vaccine and some others may be using the cold virus, which is also a corona virus, as their foundation for vaccinating against covid. If these vaccines are doing that and they actually work, I wonder if we get vaccinated with those vaccines whether there will be any additional gain against colds.
Avatar f tn My doctor said it was strep and gave me Augmentin which reduced the appearance somewhat but not completely. I got the covid vaccine astrazeneca, got a fever and the white spots increased once again (even worse). My doctor gave me Augmentin again for a week along with flucanazole. I’m at the end of the course of treatment. The white spots have decreased but some are still there. Doc wants me to switch to cipro now but is it safe to be on antibiotics for so long?

2176476 tn?1338605299 I've been on the Lamictal for about 8 months, and it has worked well in conjunction with something else. I've tried taking it alone, or not taking it when on something else, but it seems like the combination is the key. It's just finding what that something else is that's affordable. My insurance covers this Rx, but it doesn't apply to the Rx program... meaning it applies to my Deductible. (So it might as well be not covered).
Avatar f tn This is the first bp med that worked a bit for me, as the calcium channel blockers (norvasc and plendil which caused vomiting) gave me suicidal (that's what they called them) cluster headaches and elevated my bp to 250/135. I'm scared that if i missed the night dose i might have a stroke (i read that on one of the boards if u suddenly stop taking bp meds you could have a stroke).
1218318 tn?1266808601 My Ambien tapering plan has been: alternate days: 10 to 7.5 first 2 weeks, and then 7.5 to 1/2 3rd week (which I'm finishing up right now) next week will be 1/2 all week, and then 1/2 every other day. And then I get to stop and not sleep for a few days! I'll live... I've been on light BP meds for a few years. My Doc added 1mg Clonidine at bedtime, and then reduced and switched my regular BP med (Plendil) to the morning. I think the Clonidine has helped me.
