I usually train in the 60-70% and 70-80% THR
zones. I will occasionally go to 85%, but only for a short time. This heart
zone training is currently saving my life. Since I have been using this zone, I have not so much seen improvement in resting heart rate, although a little, but it has lowered my blood pressure. I have been doing this since January. Training in these zones has significantly improved my cardiovascular fitness.
