Zip code is just a postal code, but not all international addresses fit the same format. Where i am from (a small town in Ontario Canada) we pre register at the hospital in advance so all your information is ready and you dont need to be answering questions like confirming your postal code and phone number while in labour. My grandfather had lost all his by the time he was 30, apart from a rim around the side and back (luckily I haven't inherited that gene!). A colleague of mine at a previous job had lost most of his by his late 20's, and I've known plenty who have lost a lot of hair by their 30's. It just happens.
