I've had an infection a few times, and i can't remember pink discharge when using a cream. I don't think it's normal to get a pink discharge. Unless the cream is pink, it seems you're bleeding a bit. Best call your doctor about it to make sure it's ok to keep using this cream. It can be an overly sensitive reaction to the cream, or the infection might be so bad your skin is damaged or something alike (don't stop using the cream unless doc says so tho).
Has anyone had a yeast infection before? I'm 35 weeks and I'm dealing with a yeast infection right now. I'm treating it with a cream that my doctor prescribed me, but I've been getting a pink discharge after I wipe myself, well everytime I put on the cream. Can it be the cream that's causing the pink discharge? Im so lost this is my first pregnancy and this is the first time that I've gotten a yeast infection.

m wondering do I have a yeast infection combined with having irritated my rectal/anal area with the baby wipes on a shaved area? I've also been having some mild cramping in my uterus/bladder area like I've had before with a UTI but it doesn't hurt at all to pee.
I don't wear cotton underwear a lot except at night and I do work out a lot and work in a gym so I'm constantly sweating but I've not had this before.

It sounds like a yeast infection. You will sometimes get pink/blood discharge after sez because your more sensitive while pregnant. You can always call in to your doctor and see what she recommends. I have had 3 yeast infections and took monistat and then they gave me a stronger prescription cuz it wouldn't go away.

If this is your first yeast infection, they like you to see your doctor for accurate diagnosis. If not, you can treat with over the counter medication (doctors can prescribe a pill).

I've been through this before, but after getting rid of the yeast infection without using and sepositories (monistat, etc) by using vagisil, and azo yeast pills, , I started noticing an odor along with thick lumpy discharge!

I had a yeast infection and had to put the medicine up there and I have pink color mucus completely normal or if your doctor has to check you for any reason. But that's totally normal. Now if it wasn't under any of those circumstances then do call your obgyn.

There may be some irritation or remnants of a period or spotting and that is tinging the discharge the color you are seeing and its thick, because it is yeast and the itching is a classic sign. If you've never been diagnosed with a yeast infection, doctors recommend being seen.
As for a yeast infection, many people think an odorous discharge means yeast however when you have a yeast infection usually it will smell almost sweet. (If you've ever baked bread) it takes on a smell of actual yeast. Also the discharge is usually white or very pale yellowish in color and almost resemble cottage cheese. Any discharge that is quite yellow or even greenish in color is most likely a bacterial infection, not yeast.
