I am about 11 weeks pregnant, everything seems very healthy thus far, but as I get a bit bigger and feel some stretching, I am also noticing a golden discharge which is increasing as the pregnancy progresses. Nothing pink, red, or brown is appearing, just a golden color with no odor or itch. My OB Nurse has simply told me to watch it for changes, but I want to know if anyone else has had this as a normal part of their pregnancy.
I'm 9 weeks and noticed a small amount of light brown discharge when I wiped. No pink or red. Also no cramps. There may be a small amount of odor but not sure... what do I do?
I noticed when using antibacterial soaps, the smell is much sooner, and much worse, more like a chemical funky odor. If it gets on my hands, it's difficult to wash off. More recently, I find it happens with ALL dish soaps, whether they are labeled "antibacterial" or not. It's probably a cheaper formula and they're all using it. The only kind that doesn't do that now is the old fashioned "pink dish soap", if you can find it.
lately I've been feeling a burning and itching feeling down there around the vagina opening as well as a foul body odor smell along with a slight discharge that had a pink tint to it. When I pee it definatley burns a little. I've been to the OBGYN for tests and he said there was no infection. It is very embarassing when I work out as half way through my cardio I get a wiff of the nasty smell and I think that others can smell it too but I've never been able to confirm.
Are there other symptoms present like fever, change in vaginal odor, amount or discharge? Vaginal discharge or lochia may be observed for up to six weeks after delivery. The discharge will gradually change from pink or brown to yellow or white. If it has been 8 weeks already, it is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and best regards.
Call your practitioner right away if you're not yet at 37 weeks and you notice an increase in discharge or a change in the type of discharge (if it becomes watery, mucus-like, or bloody – even if it's just tinged with pink or brownish old blood). This can be a sign of preterm labor. You should also call your caregiver if you suspect that you have an infection.
I have never noticed much of an odor with my period, up until last month and now today. It is absolutely revolting!!! The blood has gone from being a lightish red to a deepish red-brown and it's kinda gooey and ickey. I have not experienced many vaginal infections of any type in my life (I'm 38), so I'm very concerned about this smell. I tried using the 3-day Monostat, but it appears to not have worked. I'm really scared about this abrupt change in the odor.
I am having a vaginal discharge that is a yellowish brown color with a smelly odor. It only occurs during the day. I thought I had started my period 5 days ago but only bled for about 5-7 hours extremely heavy and that's it. That's not normal for me. Before I started, I was spotting a little and it was a VERY light pink. After the few hours of heavy bleeding I went back to the discharge again. Is this something I need to be concerned with? Or is there anything I can do?
A few days ago, I noticed upon wiping that there was a light pink discharge from my vagina, then just today I noticed a heavy amount of brownish discharge-no odor. Now, there is some actual blood. Is this cause for concern?
They say a thin, milky, mild smelling discharge is normal throughout pregnancy. Its purpose to protect the birth canal from infection and maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in the vagina.
Do follow up with your ob and good luck with your pergnancy.
Then again, I've had it before so I kind of knew. I get a fishy odor, pink or brown discharge and sometimes a very sensitive vagina. This time I also had slight itching on my labia minora. It's a pain in the butt!
U can try vagasil wash but odor block in the pink bottle cause I had a smelly odor too but I have used it my whole pregnancy and it works for me.. BTW I'm 39+5 that's the only thing that I can use..
Is it weird to have strep like symptoms 1-2 days after sex and have it accompanied by strong smelling vaginal discharge that was white (not clear) and is now turning from brown to bright pink? Also accompanied by vaginal discomfort but no swelling or rash Now, it could just be a huge coincidence from a number of things: A) My family is having a bout of strep throat B) Period should be starting any day C) Sex was pretty rough But I'm getting a bit worried.
Have you had any itch or odor with it? It could be an infection I'd mention it to your OB. When I went into labor it was pink, then got darker pink, and brownish as I lost my mucus plug.
I had sex every month and then the following week after I got my period in April. On May 2nd I woke up with a dark brown discharge that smelled like blood. I've been having it on and off since then. One day it was a light pink shade of blood but it has mostly been dark brown. For the past two days it has been a lighter brown and barely any. I had period like cramps the first day but no other pain. I also break out when I get my period and this time I broke out as well.
I'm a first time mother to be in in my 1st trimester I'm 7 weeks and I've had this discharge it comes out white clear and dries yellow... is that normal? I've researched and so far it says it is I just wanted to make sure from other mothers if they had it? ?! And lastly today when I wipe down there...a small barely wet light light pink peach looking color comes after I wipe. I noticed it after I made a bowel movement... it's not heavy is not an odor it barely is a dot in the tissue. ..
My nurse said it's normal to have a lot of discharge but she said nothing about this horrible odor, i don't itch nor burn im just smelly i mean i wash up 3,4 times aday the discharge is like whitish or sometimes lite lite brown or lite pink i mean i don't no . Im making an appt on monday because although my nurse said go get some monistat thats expensive im just gonna wait and make an appt. and pray nothing is seriously wrong.
I get the small bit of light yellow discharge, with the HUGE smell. Even though it is embarrasing, I sometimes but a tampon on so it can hold the smell it, that depressing. I have a real problem feeling like a WOMAN, when I can't be free to go about my daily life without being bogged down with such a burden. I just read about Enzara. It looks like it's over the counter. It SAYS that it doesn't have any side-effects(???), and doesn't promote vaginal dryness. I wonder.
The pills put me in so much pain I can hardly breathe. At the times that the bleeding slows or stops I have burning itching discharge (usually with a little spotting). However, it never has a fishy odor like people normally describe. It is worse. It smells almost like rotting meat or something at times. Sometimes it even smells a little like bile. (?) Sometimes the discharge is thick and others are watery. Once it was even white like cornstarch. It is very painful for sex.
