Last night when I wiped after going to the washroom, I also saw it was slightly tinted pink, and today on the last pill, I had some more brown discharge. I don't usually experience this sort of discharge, so I am extremely concerned and confused. Could it be a sign of implantation bleeding, or is it something I don't really need to stress over too much?

You could be, the pill isn't 100% effective as you would know. Take a test with first morning urine and see what it says. The pill can cause brown discharge so it could just be caused by that. If you're not using condoms then you could have an STD which would also cause the brown discharge and could delay your period.

I know of some people that have had those reaction to taking the pill. When i was on the pill i put loads of weight on and my boobs got bigger, i also had headaches, i went to the doc and they just changed the pill to another one.

Hi. So, when we are on the pill, we don't 'really' get periods. The pill manipulates our hormones so we don't ovulate at all (required for a real period) and during the 'off week' of pills, that cessation of hormones in our system causes spotting. As hormones are added, taken away, we can have break through bleeding or spotting. Another possibility, do you have any itching?

I have been on Yasmin for a number of years due to irregular periods etc, never had a problem with it, but had my 7 day break last week, started taking the pill again on Friday and my period finished then, but yesterday and today I have had a pink discharge is it just spotting?

Now I am having pink discharge. Some of meds I am on(not birth control)caused me to be without a period for almost 5 years now. My husband and I don't use any birth control but the pull out method. I am treating myself for a yeast infection but the pink discharge has me concerned. Thoughts?

Okay.. this may be a stupid question so I'm sorry. I've been on the pill for two years now. I've only missed a day maybe twice(nothing recent) and Monday was the start of my period. Well my period only lasted Monday to Wednesday and I had a dark red/brown discharge. Well I had unprotected sex Thursday (no he didn't come in me) and yada yada. It just doesn't show itself -- if you conceived-- immediately like that though. So, 2.5 weeks after you had the unprotected sex, take a pregnancy test. 5 days since I took those pills, and some discharge still exists. I am waiting again for further tests on the gonorrhea, but assume they will come back negative. If this is not gonorrhea or chlamydia, then what possibly could be causing this discharge still after taking antibiotics twice?

I've been on the pill since I was 18 (in now 26) I was on a combined pill briefly and then was out on a mini pill until recently it was discontinued. s also possible to have breakthrough bleeding (bleeding in between periods) while on the pill. The only way to know for sure is take a pregnancy test.

Both of my younger sisters (25 and 21) fell pregnant while on the pill because they were on antibiotics. They weaken the effectiveness of the pill. Taking a test is the only way you will know. Good luck!

m scared the brown discharge is implantation bleeding!? Please make me feel better. I heard yaz makes people skip periods and stuff but i'm just freaking out! The pink probably is because you have a yeast infection (which is yeast overgrowth, nothing serious) and are a little irritated with a bit of blood. It mixes with your yeast infection discharge and is pink. Very common. And brown mixed in or a light brown color is just old blood doing the same. Treat the yeast infection. Either see a doctor for this and they prescribe a pill or go the OTC route with Monostat one day ovule. (put in place at night and wear a pad).

This sounds like blood instead of discharge. When blood is brown is usually means it's old. Did you just get off your period? Sometimes when you get pregnant you do spot in place of a period. Either way, just take a home pregnancy test to make sure.
