pink discharge labour

Hi girls i am 31 weeks pregnant and i have just gone to toilet and noticed pink discharge? is this normal?

My niece is 39 weeks and she started having small contractions and she started with stringy red/pink discharge today in the early morning. Shes been having more and and more discharge with small contractions and lots of back pain ... has anyone experience this?

They say a thin, milky, mild smelling discharge is normal throughout pregnancy. Its purpose to protect the birth canal from infection and maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in the vagina.

D OB told me everything is fine. only look out for pink or yellow iah discharge. well today i have a light pink is discharge!!!i have my 32 weeks ultrasounf and doc appt first thing in the mornjng tomorrow. should i worry now or not?i dont have pain at all...could it be the mucus plug?

i have heard that the mucos plug has pink in it aswell but not all the time, Because you can lose it occasionally over time and not all at once it wont be pink, if thats the case the pink tinge will come closer to when your about to deliver...

598am and I am still having the discharge. This pinkish discharge is similar to the discharge I had earlier in my pregnancy when I had bv. But I don't have bv.. no itchy stinging or unbearable odor. I am prone to bv so I will definitely know when I have it. The discharge seems to be flowing right on out. What could it be? Also I have been having major braxton hicks. About 15mins apart.

My midwife discribed it as a a bloody mucus discharge. (Pink in colour, or red tinged mucus) even if you get it, it does nt mean your going to go in labour, it could be weeks before you actually go into labour after loosing your mucus plug.

37 weeks and have been cramping a lot. I noticed earlier today some brown discharge when I wiped and then when I went recently, there was a lot of pressure when I peed and the discharge was more noticeable and darker. Does this mean labor is coming soon?

I had a small bleed straight after n then light pink discharge for rest of the day. The next morn I lost a lump of Brown tinged mucus which in guessing was my plug. Since the sex I have had painful Braxton hicks on and off. I did have a lot of aching like before u get your period but that has worn off now. Could these be signs of early labour. It's tues night now how ling do u think could take before things actually happen?

It's probably discharge if it doesn't have any blood in it. I saw a video of a doc explaining it n said sometimes discharge gets stuck by the cervix n then comes out as a mucus looking thing but it's just discharge. He also said once it's the plug it has blood or brownish or pink. He said either way with both its not a sign to call the doc or go in. Until ur water breaks or getting the contractions 5 min apart.

Hey ladies. I'm high risk for preterm labour and now that I'm in the third trimester everything new that I feel is scary. I know I'm probably just freaking myself out. So any ladies who went into preterm labour, what were some of the signs before it happened?

How can you tell if you lost your mucus plug? Will it feel just like discharge? With my first I dont beleive I lost my plug, or I just never paid attention to that so I'm very curious as to what it will feel like and look like.

Im 28 weeks 4 days and for the past two days ive been having strong frequent braxton hicks,increase discharge with a pink colour and cramp like pains.i went to the labour suite lastnight and they checked me over and said everything was ok and to come back if the pains get more intense or In my back.

Ever since have been having regular pains and tightenings and again before went to the toilet, wiped and had more pink discharge! Hopefully this is it and we get to meet our little mister or miss very soon! If not, i'm booked in for induction Monday night anyway :D SO EXCITED!!!

I didn't start losing it until the morning of my active labor. Mind was a gush of pink bloody discharge, I guess it's what they call the bloody show. Everyone is difference, some woman start loosing it weeks ahead.

I'm 38 weeks 5 days and I'm having bloody discharge it's like pinkish red and it's scaring the hell out of me.
