Pink discharge during pregnancy third trimester

Common Questions and Answers about Pink discharge during pregnancy third trimester

Avatar_f_tn during pregnancy your cervix has more blood flow going to it so you bleed easily. Intercourse can irritate the cervix and make you spot a little. So at this point I would say that is normal. Just keep an eye on it. As for everything else you are getting to the point where sickness, for most, start to go away. Your body is starting to get used to the extra hormones. I also hated chicken but just started liking it again one day.
Avatar_f_tn I'm 7 wks and 5 days pregnant.I had a light pink discharge today. My feet have started swelling and am feeling tired all the time.Is this normal?
Avatar_n_tn I agree with Stinasmom I had two miscarriages the same way my doctor told me no sex the first trimester and no sex when my normal cycle was during the entire pregnancy....Of course I did that and now have a beautiful baby girl but we also did progesterone injections too! So I don't know if it was a combo of both or one or the other but it worked so it is something to think about. I am 8 weeks pregnant now and poor hubby hasn't had any sex for about that long!ha!ha!
147932_tn?1226969710 yeah its worrying to see discharge and pv spotting and clots during pregnancy,in most of cases it is not at all dangerous or worrying, but some serious conditions needs to be ruled out like the poosibility of ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy and early miscarriage so for this purpose i wiill advice you to have a tvs(trans vaginal scan) that will help you out.mean while till you get your date you shoukld have atleast one blood test of serum beta hcg.......regards Dr.
Avatar_n_tn Which had me thinking, because I dunno if it's possible to clot a lil bit when bleeding during a pregnancy. The the third day, it was back to the light bleeding on and off game. And then the rest was just so light I didn't have to wear any sort of pantie liners or pads because it was only there when I wiped and it was a very light pink, almost peach.
Avatar_f_tn First trimester is up until week 14 of pregnancy. Feel free to discuss all of your 1st trimester questions and discussions here!
325477_tn?1250554909 I read that overall in the pregnnacy is better to gain few pounds in the first trimester bc the last trimesters are killer and is when you really hate steppping on the scale. Anyways, I think we all girls are beautiful and our babies are doing great. I have a doc app. this afternoon so I will let you know what did it go later. Also I am going to get couple more belly pics as soon as I get my 20 weeks u/s. Love to all.
Avatar_f_tn You will probably have to deal with this for the rest of your pregnancy, since it is normal to have increased discharge during pregnancy. I personally did not have much of a sex drive during pregnancy, so didn't really have to deal with this, but it seems to be one of those things that you either live with or choose not to.
Avatar_f_tn If yes it could be a yeast infection but I also heard Its normal. When you get pregnant discharge increases a lot wait until the third trimester it's gonna be a lot more. But you can ask your doctor tomorrow about it.
Avatar_n_tn Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions or comments? This is my third pregnancy and I am 38. My last child was born almost eight years ago and this one was unplanned. I was taking Orthotricyclen when I got pregnant and took it daily up until I found out I was pregnant, basically at 5 1/2 weeks.
Avatar_n_tn I started havin' this brown discharge during my 12 weeks pregnancy. One early morning I experienced blood discharge, I really got panic and so stressed. I went to my doctor right away but baby was ok,heart beat was normal, my doctor advice me to take rest, and take duphaston tablets 3x a day for a week.Made me feel better.
151928_tn?1275710937 ) I worry about my baby every single day. This will be my third child, but my sixth pregnancy. I had my first 2 w/my 1st hubby at 19&20 yrs old. I didnt worry about a thing. when i was 22 i had an abortion then was pregnant again a month later and had a miscarriage. I felt bad about the abortion and thought the m/c was God punishing me. Well last summer, I had sex once with a guy, (ONE TIME) and got pregnant. I had an abortion again.
Avatar_n_tn i did research last night and found that the creamy discharge could be a definite pregnancy sign...says it starts early pregnancy and increases throughout. however, i took a test early this am and it was negative. i wanted to hold off a little longer but was losing sleep over it. if my period doesn't come in a few days, i will try again. the test says that it's only 51% accurate this early. guess i'll go to target for more tests.
306389_tn?1213491296 Brown blood is old blood which isn't something to be too concerned about. I bled for 5 weeks bright red during this pregnancy and everything turned out to be okay. I believe everything should be okay for you and that on Monday you'll see your little bean okay in there!
Avatar_n_tn I did not have the pink color discharge with my last pregnancy. I am not spotting and have been to my Doctor a few times already and everything is going as planned. I even called the maker of Crinone and they said the dischrage should be white or off white. I don't think it is blood because it is an odd color and I had the bleeding with my first miscarriage and this looks different. When I go to the bathroom there is also no blood or anything abnormal.
Avatar_n_tn I took a pregnancy test it sd positive,I went to the doctor they sd negative I my last period was sept5 and I come on every 22 days, I have had slight cramping and a little pink discharge everyone who knows me says yours breast look huge are you pregnant has any experience this before, I hope I am!
Avatar_f_tn He is a result of our first try, my last pregnancy a result of our second, and this pregnancy is a result of our third. And I probably wouldn't have gotten so lucky if not for the charting. I still get blue thinking about my m/c, but I try to focus on my son and my new little angel, and my husband, who can be a ****, but is great for the most part. Anyway, best of luck. Keep us posted.
Avatar_n_tn Hi! My question is how can we differentiate pregnancy and pms symptoms?Every month i have symptoms like breast tenderness, tiredness, digestive problems, bloating and twinges in lower abdomen for about a week prior to my period. All of these symptoms resemble early pregnancy symptoms.Since i have been ttc,it becomes very difficult for me to understand during the two week wait.Kindly share your opinions.
Avatar_n_tn is it normal to get a negative pregnancy test 24 hours after embryo transfer?
Avatar_n_tn I had mine put in 2/20/06 which is a little over 2 yrs ago.. I am going throught the lovely signs of pregnancy also.. I have NEVER been late with a period since I had this thing put in. At the college I work at, the doctor told me that after 2 years they are no good anymore.. I know they say 5 yrs. but he said they are lying.. I had a few doctors tell me this actually. Are women just not made for birthcontrol? geez I tell ya.
Avatar_n_tn When I was pregnant 2 years ago with my third child (a Girl). I had terrible vagina problems. In my third trimester I developed an allergic reaction to my luandry detergent and had to wash my underware in baby shampoo. Well after she was born the itching stopped and I nursed her for 22 months. Well about a month after I stopped (last November) I started with a monthly itching problem. I figured out that I get it about every 7-10 days before my cycle.
Avatar_n_tn Hello I am an OB nurse, so all I can give you is a reasonable reassurance that if you still had enough endometrium to support a pregnancy past the first trimester, you should be ok. Now, given that your endometrium is most definately not normal, I am sure they will follow you very closely for signs that the pregnancy is developing normally.
187316_tn?1386360282 There is not a set to lose the mucus plug. Some women may lose the plug early in their third trimester, towards the middle of the third trimester or immediately prior to labor starting. While it is true that labor will begin after your mucus plug has come out, there is no set time for labor to actually begin. Sometimes labor begins within a few hours and sometimes it can take weeks.
Avatar_n_tn I see my Dr on Wed, but i am going crazy as this is my third pregnancy, the first two ended in miscarriage after similar dark brown spotting, at 8 weeks(blighted ovum) and 6 weeks. Any success stories that include spotting for this length of time?? Apart from slightly swollen breasts, I don't feel pregnant at all.
Avatar_n_tn There were no cramps(unlike my normal period, however. I have missed my period for the third day so far. but tested negative for pregnancy on the day after my period was due. qn 1: Does ovulatory bleeding still mean that the period cycle continues as normal? qn 2: is ovulatory bleeding detrimental to health? It only happens to me maybe thrice in a year and is usually not as severe as this time round. Would be really grateful if someone can answer my qns.
Avatar_n_tn The doc said I could only wait and test again (she suggested a week), but although not having seen it an awful lot, did know of someone who had never tested positive during her pregnancy (I think it's only the first trimester that the hormones are meant to be present). She didn't test me again, as said that the tests available in shops were probably even more reliable than the ones she had. She also thought that six days late was probably still quite early really.
Avatar_n_tn My OB wasn't too concerned in first to mid-second trimester, but is a bit worried about bleeding in third trimester; so I was referred to Sunnybrook's Odette Cancer Centre, to the specialist in the colposcopy department. The specialist there had a look and did another pap smear (which came back as normal, as have all of my paps), and says he sees *normal* glandular changes, but it is unusual that I have quite a bit of mucous discharge and bleeding.
Avatar_n_tn This pregnancy, though, I had period-like cramping (though milder) for most of the first trimester (I'm now 25 weeks and all is fine). My ob/gyn said it is only dangerous if it is accompanied by bleeding, but did a couple of extra ultrasounds to make sure everything was okay. She also said that cramping which leads to m/c progresses - it gets worse with time, and is soon accompanied by bleeding. So don't worry!!
Avatar_n_tn Then on August 1st I has some light pinkish discharge so I assumed I was going to start. It went from pink to light red then brown and it only lasted for 2 and half days and my periods are always heavy and last anywhere from 5-7 days. So 2 days after the bleeding stopped, I took another hpt and this one also came out neg. I've been tired, nauseous and frequent urination. What the heck is wrong with my body?
