I know that Vitamin H is supposed to help with anxiety and depression, but I wasn't drinking water like I should have been and I know Biotin is water-soluble and since I have been out of school for the summer I am not as active.

I had severe adrenal insufficiency due to severe vitamin B12 deficiency. Sounds like you need to start thyroid medication again too. That causes puffiness in the face and eyes and fatigue and stress on the adrenal glands. I have hypothyroidism as well just to add. When i'm stressed i usually sleep about 14 or 15 hours.

I had range of symptoms e.g extreme tiredness, severe anxiety, insomnia, sleep paralysis, explosive head syndrome, tingling and numbness etc. My first thought was I might have MS. And whichever disease I would look on internet I had majority of associated symptoms. This was due to severe anxiety caused by low vitamin d.

I'm fatigued and somewhat dizzy. I've also been quite depressed, though I may need to up my intake of iron in that case. Avatar f tn I had a vitamin D deficiency prior to getting pregnant. I was supposed to be taking a 4,000 supplement but forgot a lot. So my levels continued to drop & now they prescribed me a weekly vitamin D 50,000 (thats not a typo!) Im a first time Mom too & was concerned about too much D but apparently our bodies need bunches. If you are having that bad of a reaction I would definitely talk with your doc! Good luck!!

It uses the magnesium as fuel, which depletes us of that mineral. Magnesium deficiency causes its own set of problems very similar to vitamin d deficiency. (Also cramps, constipation, and heart flutters) I always take magnesium citrate and calcium with vitamin d now. It helps.

Vitamin D is available through our foods also. Fortified milk, breakfast cereals, egg yolks, fatty fish, fish oils, and the sun. Sit at a window with the sun shining in for about 1/2 hour (few times a week) and that will help you get enough Vitamin D.

Avatar f tn About 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor complaining of hair loss and tingling in my hands and feet. The doctor ordered blood tests and confirmed that I have a vitamin B deficiency. My ANA also came back positive. I was told to take a complex B vitamin and also go see a rheumatologist. Since taking the vitamins I am still having all of these symptoms and am now worried that the doctor might be right about thinking I have lupus.
