Does anyone here have experience with Phentermine? My doctor let me talk him into it for weight loss last June. It's supposed to be only taken for 8-12 weeks, but since I've kept losing weight and my blood pressure stays low, he's kept refilling my prescription. I take 37.5 mg once a day. I know this drug is a stimulant, etc. and it can become addictive. Every once in a while-- like today-- I don't take it, just to see if *not* taking it bugs me.

Going through day 3 again. The only thing I hate more than being addicted to phentermine is having to repeat days after another failed attempt. My body hurts and I'm not in a very good mood. does anyone no how long before your moods starts to get better?

I'm kinda glad to hear that I'm not the only one that has had this kind of experience while taking phentermine. I only drink one night a week and there has been several times where I honestly black out and do and say things I don't remember. It seems like someone else takes over my body. I'm teminded the next day by my husband all the awful things I've said to him and I don't recall anything. I feel awful for it.

You are going to cause yourself to have heart problems do to the excessive amount of caffeine. Its bad enough that you run the risk of heart problems with Phentermine but adding energy drinks to that just adds to the risk. I took Phentermine for a while. I never drank energy drinks because I cant stand them but I now have heart problems because of the Phentermine.

Hi, I can not drink caffeine while on phentermine. It just makes me more anxious (like I've had 20 cups of coffee). If I must have a cup, I drink it as the phen starts to wear off, but not much....like 4 oz. The phenetermine will make you jittery, cause sleeplessness etc., especially during the 1st 2 weeks of use. I think the energy drinks are not so good, either, and the diet red bull just tastes awful. You shouldn't need it with the phen.
