I had read this on the Addiction Forum by ActingBrandNew and wanted to share it here for those that are being effected by a false positive drug test. No you did nothing wrong the test are faulty in that they sell over the counter drugs that interact with the testing..
The Phen was causing me to have acne which I've never had acne problem until I started taking Phen. Then I had a drug screening done which showed I had amphetamine in my urine, of course Im not a meth addict or user of any drugs. It was researched by the lab and the Phen is an amphetamine which causes acne and skin picking due to increased dopamine. After the drug test I immediately stopped taking the Phen and the acne started to fade with in 2 days.
Is it possible to test positive on a home pregnancy test if you are on th
A small fraction of the population excrete large amounts of certain enzymes in their urine which can produce a positive drug test. Dr. John Morgan of the Dept. of Pharmacology of New York City University writes: "A false positive test could occur in some individuals because they excrete unusually large amounts of endogenons lysozyme or malate dehydrogenase." Dr. Morgan judges that natural enzyme interference may run as high as 10% of positive samples. Black Skin. This is not a joke!
New here but need to see if anyone has experience or educatex opinions on this. My foster child is in juvenile drug court for a marijuana problem. He had done well for almost 50 days, and suddenly failed a drug test for amphetamines last week. He is tested 4 times a week...he was "dirty" Monday, but clean Tuesday.
I took a diet pill phentermine on Saturday (i did have a prscription), my boss now wants a urine drug screen. How many days before the phentermine clears, i don't want her to think I am on speed but i also don't want her to know I am taking an appetite suppressant, (she is myhusbands sister-in-law.
I am currently on phentermine and a special fat burning injection formula that includes B12. to tell you the truth, this doctor who i found is a specialist in weight management, and he offers this special formulated fat burning shot. that turns out to be cheaper that when i used to order b12 alone. Way more affective too. he is in los angeles though. anyway, i had bad luck with buying them online and it was more expensive. Now I am assured that he will take care of me.
Start date Feb 10th on B-12 Lipo shot and the 11th I took my first 1/2 of pill of Phentermine. On a diet of around 1000 calories a day along with exercise. In 3days I have lost 8lbs.
Hi everyone just a quick question I am 2 days late on my period I took a test yesterday it came out negative but it was a clear blue digital one. Still no sign I'm normally regular and on time I am feeling dizzy bloated sick and tired also have sore breasts could is till be pregnant ?
I have been trying to get my pcp to take out of his files that I had a history of diabetes, a year and I still haven't gotten it straighted out. I never had a glucose lvl of above 80 and that's well within the 70-99 normal range for me. What do I do if they refuse to take it out? What's strange is his file says diabetes but my MIB is clear; even clear of my heart surgery, PM/ICD implant and my health insurance co wasn't a help getting it done.
1 min. No cuts etc. I have a negative dna / antibody test at 6 weeks and a negative 12 week test. - but symptoms started at 2 to 3 weeks - and still persist. 14.5 weeks from incident. Not to bore you but headache, fatigue, muscle aches, joint aches, loss of appetite, sore chest, weakness, dysfunction loss of feeling, etc. because my dr, std dr and others told me I was ok, I had unprotected sex with my lt partner, now they are starting to see symptoms. I am continuing to research with my dr.
they judge you on how they think you will react to what they say and if they see any panic, they watch what they say, just the same as when medical records get rewritten saying tests were done on a certain day, even if you have had a blotched up surgery. (My major surgery actually disappeared from my hospital records and was replaced with a cath report that had actually been done 5 years earlier!!) So, as I asked earlier, what do you think about things like these happening?
I have been asking so many questions lately and I have one thing that is so bothering me and thought I would reach out to someone on here. How likely would it be for someone to have a dangerous arrhythmia if they had a negative cardiac work up? In May of this year, I had a normal echo, normal stress test, normal event monitor besides PVCS and PACS and sometimes an elevated and lowered HR, BP ok and blood work ok too.
And, when usage reveals problems with the drug--sometimes huge problems--to include death, cancer, stroke, and so on (like with HRT's) (and Phen-Fen, a weight loss drug from a few years ago which caused major heart valve problems in many users), the drug companies accept the legal battles as the "cost of doing business" and although they "fight" the suits, eventually will settle because they already made their profits--profits many times larger than what the settlement and
How did you react to it in combination with the synthroid? I have been on phentermine for a little over a month because I had problems shedding post-partum weight, but then found out that I also have hypothyroidism and was prescribed with Levothyroxine (by the same doctor and kept me on phentermine). I was overwhelmed when my pharmacy printed out a long *WARNING OF DRUG INTERACTION* sheet telling me of all the possible side effects etc...
destromethorphan HBR that is in nyquil and many cough suppressants affects seratonin levels Also, diet pills or any amphetamine...a case was sited where a college student on Effexor and also on phentermine died of Seratonin Syndrome. MDMA causes an increase as well...narcotics also affects seratonin levels and is why we feel so happy when we r on them/in the beginning I mean/but tramdol/Ultram have a more strong AD quality than most narcotics......
wow that should get just about every user out of a drug test or at least a good argument........
Shannon, Can you please explain your MD's rational for prescribing phentermine. This is a common drug used to treat patients with Obesity. Did you doctor evaluate your current level of medication of Levothyroxine? If you are receiving too much of this medication it can have serious side effects. Levothyroxine (synthroid) takes time to build up into your system which is why you may have felt okay on it initially. I would suggest that you contact a medical professional.
I find it irresponsible of the endo, not to do all the necessary testing for thyroid issues, but be so willing to prescribe a drug like phentermine. Doctor do tend not to believe us when we have weight issues. For some reason, it's so much easier for them blame us for not doing something, than it is to help us.
I started noticecing it all started around one year and a half ago when i went to a weight loss clinic and i was prescribed with phentermine i did notice it started 2 months after my first visit but they have been getting worst i have gone to the doctor and i have had my pressure checked and it has been low but my doctor just tells me to go another day and it is fine.
Metformin is a glucose lowering drug, phentermine is for weight loss and dicyclomine is for irritable bowel. You need to ask this doctor if he has run a glucose test on you and if he has determined that you are diabetic. I am a diabetic and I take metformin...if you are NOT a diabetic, ask the doctor why he has put you on metformin!! Metformin will lower your blood sugar and you need to be informed about possible hypoglycemic events...call your doctor now! Please let us know what he says...
C (a social worker at the parole office) once a month and that I submit to a drug test once a week and that I take my prescibed medications as ordered. Like I said my doctor perscibed me adderall. Parole knew this and was okay with this even though adderall is an amphetimine and will test positive as such. Well about a year ago while taking adderall I caught a parole violation for a dirty test.
This patient was a 65 year-old man on only 25 mg of Topamax a day for headaches. It took us over 8 hours just to get the eye pressure under 50 (which is still about 3 times normal.) He was rapidly losing vision from an attack of acute angle closure glaucoma IN BOTH EYES. That is one of the most significant things that people don't always realize.
Hello - My situation is kind of long sorry - I am 36, 10 years ago diagosed with Fibro possible MS. Over a Year and a half ago I began taking Phentermine daily for weight loss, this was not prescribed my a MD and I know it was stupid however, I stayed on it for almost 24 months and Yes I did loose the weight. I noticed at times my heart pounding harder and faster sometimes while taking it but never thought anything much.
it will be helpful to also take the doctor a sample of the pills. Phentermine is a prescribed drug for the same reason, you need to be monitored by a doctor...because it can cause high blood pressure etc. You can only be somewhat safe ordering online if you are in tuned with your body you can tell if the medication is affecting you in a negative way. The normal side effects for Phen is dry mouth, loss of appitite, racing heart and insomia....
I don't know about the HCG, but when I took the b-12 injection, combined with the phentermine (by prescription) I lost weight. I guess phentermine is a diet drug, so that doesn't really help you. I haven't tried the B-12 alone.
Substances Causing False Positives According to a report by the Los Angeles Times New Service, a study of 161 prescription and over the counter medications showed that 65 of them produced false positive results in the most widely administered urine test.
That is too hard of a call to make. You are on a low dose of Levo so you must have the ability to have your thyroid function. Will it produce enough hormone to keep you well? That is the question. If you have been medicating now for 2 yrs and feel fine at 2.46 - (which is a bit high for most thyroid patients) to not be having symptoms - I would speak to your doctor about this.
I went to a nutritionist a month ago to get an idea of what I was doing wrong and to get a good start on good diet. She recommended that I don't go longer than 5 hours without eating and not to eat late. I am eating more protains and vegetables during the day and a fruit at night. I am not drinking the 8 glasses of water that I am supposed to, too much time in the bathroom :o) if I do that. The shot area is still hurting, I wonder if that is normal...
