Common Questions and Answers about Phentermine half life

phentermine

I went from 280 to 205. My boyfriend (of 17 years) was out of my life for about a year and a half of that...and I didnt know what to do with myself and was going insane without him.....so i filled my time with my bestfriend and exercise. I still ate pretty normal but exercised almost everyday...somedays would be lighter than others but I pretty much done something physical everyday. I done wonderful and was so proud of myself for doing it on my own with no meds or supplements.
5mg tblt) and take half in the am--and half in the afternoon. half a pill will last for the whole day, you just have to get that in your head....i know it's hard. if you can alternate days, it will really work. look at it like this, if you can take a couple days off, they work even better. don't look at it as if you have to quit and never take them again, just try and give your body a break. before you know it, you won't "have" to take them.
When I would need to be active I would use OTC Metabolife or energy drinks by the gallon just to feel somewhat normal for the next few days until my body adjusted! Phentermine and Bontril and a HORRIBLE drug and have a much longer half life than when I would stop taking my Schedule II Ritalin!!! My advice is to sleep as much as possible and than use supplements for a few days. It does work! Than stay the hell away from them!!! I finally broke the habit almost 2 yrs ago.
He is close to 50 now and already has high blood pressure although I don't know if that is a product of other things he does. He's been an alcoholic my whole life/pretty much his whole life. Not until long before he and my mother split up did we hear about his hydrocodone addiction (which has since seemed to have been replaced with something stronger and stronger every time).
i would like to know if there is any reason why i should not take methimazole and phentermine at the same time and/or if the phentermine could possibly cause my hyperactive thyroidism to return.
There is a Clinic in Bowie, Nocona and Saint JO that does the B-12 shot and Phentermine. The clinics are about an hour and a half North of Dallas. Here is the number to the Saint Jo clinic 940-995-2410. Speak to Patty and ask here for the Bowie number, it will be closer to you, and she will help you out.
Some if about the Phentermine pills: Phentermine is a phenethylamine primary used as an appetite suppressant. It is typically prescribed for individuals who are at increased medical risk because of their weight, as opposed to cosmetic weight loss. History: Phentermine is one of two drugs in the Fen-phen anti-obesity medication, the other being fenfluramine or dexfenfluramine. Fenfluramine was withdrawn from the U.S.
Take one half in the morning and take the other half before 2pm. Some people on the phentermine forum use it this way and it works for them. Others just take the whole pill later in the morning like 10-11am if they want the pill to last longer in the evenings. I take my pill at 5am, and I have a small breakfast, and a small lunch...by the time dinner rolls around the Phen is not as potent in my system and I am able to eat a good sized dinner.
I have just started phentermine. I take half of one in the mornings(630am) and the other half around noon. I notice that I am getting really bad headaches over my eyes. It happens around the same time every day so far, usually by 2 or 3 pm. Today is my fourth day and I finally took an Aleve to try to ease the headach, Im drinking more water. Also, my eyes feel really tired, like they need to close, like i am tired, but i am not. Can anyone give me some advice?
she lost approx. 40 pnds while doing the combination of phentermine 37.5 mg, b12 injections, and triamterene (water pills. I live in kentucky and can not find a place to get the B12 injection. I called the clinic to see if I could get a RX and they dont do that you have to get them at their clinic. If anyone has any suggestions about this program or the injections please let me know. The clinic gives you 2 monthes of pills and your supposed to go in and get weekly injections.
My doctor has me on this regime 1 phentermine and 1 Chromium 1 hour after breakfast and another Chromium at 2pm a b12 shot every 14days. I did this before in Mar 06 and by June06 had lost 30 pounds and continued to lose a total of about 50 pounds. I kept it off for about a year and a half but have since gained it back right know I am 180 and thought it would be interesting to keep a journal of my weight lose journey. I have become a total hermit because I'm soo ashamed that I'm this heavy again.
I only started taking the phentermine today, so I may not be much help. Have you tried breaking the pill in half? The dr. that prescribed mine suggested doing that & taking half in the morning & half mid afternoon.
I started out at 170 pounds and so far, I have lost 20 pounds in one month just using the phentermine by itself. My phentermine 37.5 mg pills are oval shaped, white with light blue specks. There is a line down the middle of the front of the pill. On the right side of the pill it has "159" on the left side of the line it has "A". The back of the pill is blank.
) I only take Phentermine, no B12. Sometimes I take only half a tab. I eat healthy foods. overall, I feel great!
hoping that the eating habits that I establish while on phentermine will incorporate themselves into my life and become 'natural' once I am off the drug. It's been a God-send for me.
I'm so self conscience anymore with my weight and I simply just feel unhealthy; it's even affecting my social life. I work and go to school, both full-time, so I have absolutely no time to exercise or eat right. And let's face it...eating healthy tends to be expensive. I know everybody has their own situation and let us all just agree that weight loss in today's society has got to be one of the most difficult things to achieve. So...here goes!
I have been on the phentermine program through a weight loss clinic for 5 weeks here in southern california. I take the 30 mcg. pill once a day in the morning and a b12 pill. I have not been perscribed the water pill. My friend did the same thing and was given the water pill and she lost 20 pounds in 5-6 weeks. I have lost a total of about 1-2 pounds a week. So total..like 7 pounds???? I am not satisfied and it is getting expensive. I have cut my calorie intake in half...
Only a licensed physician will be able to tell if phentermine is right for a patient based on their health. 3. You also have to make changes in your life style. Phentermine is not a miracle weight loss drug, it is used to promote a better, healthier life style along with exercise and diet. If you want the medication to work as it is intended and to get the results you crave then you will have to put in the effort and exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet of NO LESS than 1200 calories.
I am with 3 shots a week and 1 37.5 phentermine ...love the pill I forget to eat, but that cotton mouth is good at reminding me to drink! My husband is excited too because he knows when I find something and commit to it, the results are undoubtedly guaranteed. So as of 9/21 my weight was 251 and here is where I'd like to chart the progress as well as hear from y'all with your war stories! So glad I stumbled across here by googling the use of the hormone for weight loss! Good luck to us all!
Hi.. Pocha. I am the same way with phentermine. I take the same. They are not as strong as they used to be. I took them 3-4 yrs ago and had crazy energy and no appetite! I too get irritated and just a "blah" feeling. I hope it gets better... I also do the HCG shots.
I reside in the Atlanta GA area, and I have read a lot of forums pertaining to b12 injections, and phentermine for weight lost. From my understanding they're not something you can get your regular doctor to prescribe. In the past year I've had a baby gain 75pds, and I have not been able to lose it since. I am looking for a Dr. in the Atlanta area that I can get a prescription from. Please help?
hello I was prescribed phentermine 37.5mg by my doctor and was told to sign up for weight watchers. I have been doing this for 7 weeks now and I have lost 22lbs. But this week I started walking 45mins a day and Im well below my points for weight watcher and I have gained 2 whole pounds this week. Im doing everything right so why am i gaining if im taking the meds doing weight watchers drinking plenty of water and walking? its just so frusturating.
She also told me to start off taking only a half of the phentermine a day for the first 4 days so my body gets use to it. Today is my first day that i took the whole pill, and i really didnt feel much different, I have been REALLY thirsty. But i guess thats good because im flushing my body out with water. I havent been hungary or craved anything, in fact i have to remind myself that i have to eat, and when i do eat, i only eat about half of my meal then i dont want anymore.
Did this program mainly for the Phentermine. I think if I can get my body used to eating less I can do it on my own much easier. Kind of lazy? Maybe, but I know me and that's the way I work. So far, I am thrilled with the process. My diet they have me on is a 6-800 calorie diet and my biggest problem with it will be the no alcohol. I love my Makers Mark. The HCG shot they game me yesterday had me feeling like King Kong. I started the Phentermine this morning. I love it even more.
i stay active lost weight over xmas lost a pound and half. i ate what i wanted but we had smoked turkey at my house and had salad, green beans, mac and cheese, turkey and only a little tiny bit of ham. oh and a Gumbo as a starter. mind you i also had a piece of a fruit for breakfast.
Hi Lisa, yeah, I wouldn't listen to someone who has put other people's weighloss in front of his own personal spelling problems! I was taking phentermine and HCG, after 3 months, I was down 48lbs. I was also walking and doing an aerobic workout a few times a week! I felt great!
00 I take the other half of my phentermine and really the rest of the day depends on how I feel and the quantity of pills I have...The more I have the more I take and when the bottle gets low I start freaking out and try to refill it as soon as possible. I'm thinking about tapering off because I have a 12 day break from school starting on the 12th of this month and I figured that would be the best time to start it. If I taper what how many should I take?
i think it also helps to put our goals in writing to solidify(sp?) them. Thank you and good luck to everyone. Let us reclaim the life we have given up by denying that we have a weight problem.
She said what a difference the BIPAP machine has made in her life and had nothing but good things to say. I was very optimistic that this would be the end of many of the problems. The tech was very thorough in explaining the set up of the BIPAP machine, but I was awakened many times by the tech for the mask to be readusted or changed because I moved or rolled. When I finally woke up, I felt the worst I had ever felt after sleeping.
