33f, DM 2, Been taking Metformin XR 500mg 2 pills x2 a day. Started phentermine after trying invonkana, and trulicity to bring my a1c down. Mid January 2017 I started the phentermine. Towards the end of February 2017 I had ketones in my urine and was in ketosis. I was excercisin religiously and watching my carb intake.i was eating between 100 to 150gms of carbs. I was not on a ketogenic diet. After that visit i have been extremely ill. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
I was given phentermine 15 mg by a "doctor" at a weight loss clinic. I'm a bit skeptical because of all the negative reviews I have read. I am currently 136 at 5' 3'' and want to get to my pre pregnancy weight of 120. I have tried other diets and just cant seem to get the extra weight off. m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

You only have energy when you take the phentermine because your body is used to the dosage that you ingest. When the phentermine is wering off, your body feels that it needs more of it, and you feel sluggish, and out of energy. it's common for your body to become tolerant to medications. You must talk with your doctor about this also, as it's very important. no energy can be a very negative for your overall quality of life just like the pain is.

Feb 15, 2011- I decided enough was enough. I finally accepted that to lose weight, I will have to actually Get Up Off The Couch and DO something. I started by walking on a treadmill (started at a mile) and now I am up to 2 miles. I have cut out 99% of sodas and sweet tea. No junk food.
