phentermine and zoloft interaction

My cousin was on Phentermine but not Sub or Lex....I think that if you took the sub along with the Phentermine, you would get real nervous and shaky...maybe even heart palpitations and put you into panic. I'm just guessing based on what each drug does and how the affects would be if you joined those two actions...but I would also suggest studying on both and search the web for the interactions....

Did you ask your doctor about taking Phen with your BB? Ask your doctor or pharmacist.. I would never take any type of amphetamine with an arrhythmia; all kinds of things could happen. I think that's what started my major problems with my NSVT runs that made my heart stop.

I have recently been put on Zoloft and was informed that taking both at the same time could cause stomach bleeding, but my doctor said she would put me on the Zoloft anyway. Is this safe? I normally do not take the naproxen every day but there are times I do take it daily for a week or two when my back is especially inflamed. I would like to continue taking both medications if possible. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

One of my kids has taken phentermine and it did help a little. However she has just this week learned she has hypothyroidism and that may be another reason her metabolism is sluggish. Have been on Zoloft 25mg for 3 weeks new doc wants to put me on abilify 2mg with the Zoloft to see if it makes it work better. What sort of side effects does this cause and is it helpful?

Is it safe to take both? I take the Zoloft during the day and Paxil at night because I noticed it helps me sleep.

Has anyone experienced breathing problems with Zoloft. Youknow, the "I can't quite catch my breath" feeling. And if you yawn you finally get enough air. My heart and lungs have checked out fine. Other than that , I feel much better for since being on it for 2weeks. Also, any thoughts on the sucess of other meds besides zoloft? Prozac? Lexapro?

Phentermine will not help you lose weight, the old Phentermine did but is was a very nasty and dangerous drug. The FDA withdrew Phentermine and removed the dangerous ingredient which is what made you lose weight...and the new Phentermine does nothing. There are doctors who prescribe it but they also insist that you be on a low carbohydrate diet with it. So you will lose weight but not because of the Phentermine but because of the low carb diet! The Phentermine is a big waste of your money.

I take my zoloft and ativan in morning as it me jittery and causes insomnia. I have seasonal allergies and was wondering the best OTC antihistamine would work better. Allegra, Zyrtec or loratadine. I was on 12.5 zoloft for 2 weeks and tapering up to 25 mg (split another 12.5 in half so 3/4 a pill then one whole 25 mg. I have to do this slowly as I am super sensitive to meds. Thanks for any help. Plus I eventually need to taper down my ativan when I level on the zoloft.

My father is 52 yrs. old, he's been insulin dependent for about 15yrs. He's 5'7 and weighs about 200lb. He really doesn't follow a diet. He eats whatever he wants, but when he checks his blood and it's about 300 or 400 he just injects his insulin. Since he eats whatever he wants, he doesn't lose any weight. You are correct about there the MAJOR drug interaction between tramadol and sertraline (Zoloft). Please note that there are several moderate drug interactions with your medications, for example, sertraline (Zoloft), pregabalin (Lyrica), clonidine, and methocarbamol (Robaxin) all can increase side effects such dizziness, drowsiness, and impaired thinking and judgment when taken together. Would I have to gradually add these and take simultaneously with Zoloft? Is it safe to take one or both of these with zoloft? If so, what dosage? Also, is it safe to take zoloft while taking natural harmones ( cream)?

Your best bet is to actually call the pharmacist. While doctors SHOULD know the answer to this question, pharmacists are better educated about this. The one thing I can tell you about any weight loss drug is that even though they may be safe to take together, anytime I've taken them (or even green tea), my heart rate goes through the roof and I get jittery. So, even if the drugs are safe together, if you notice increased anxiety, this could be why.

I take Methadone 80mg a day once in the morning, and have been prescribed to psychiatric medication for a long period of time. These consist of Abilify and at one time Zoloft I kept on having very strong panic attacks followed immediately by loss of breath like asthma but to the point of hyperventilating . m a 17 year old girl in high school, and was told by my doctor that I have major depression. My doctor gave me Zoloft. She said it worked for most teens and I should have no problem dealing with the little side effects. I was told that at the worst, I would get a stomac ache, and a dry mouth. m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

The diastolic is always over 100 and my doctor has changed my medication now 3 times. Is there possibly an interaction between the Hoodia I'm taking to lose weight and the blood pressure?
