Phentermine and vomiting

Common Questions and Answers about Phentermine and vomiting

phentermine

I get a B-12 shot three times a week, a water pill a day, two Amino Basic tablets before dinner and lunch, and of course a Phentermine 37.5mg a day. From what ive reserched, phentermine alone can make you loose muscle mass(protine), wich is why i take the amino basic to help restore muscle therefor burn more calories. Phentermine also increses blood pressure and the "water pill" lowers it as well as reducing water retention(Doctors incourage patients to drink lots and lots of water).
like everyone here....I want the "real deal" phentermine....so confused about what is real.
the nausia and headaches & vomiting haven't bothered me so far. I do need to keep close to the bathroom which is a very typical side effect of the med. I know I need to watch my diet to really get the best results along with exercise. This gets easier with weight loss so the met is helping me to get more active. I am concerned about firming my body up after the weight is gone, especially the stomach area. I do ab work and workout with light weights to help with this.
(Blinding lightspots in both eyes) and the pain sets in (both eyes) hard and heavy...can't stand it. Always accompanied by severe tremors and vomiting. I've had them since I was a toddler, and all the "migraine specific" drugs did a big fat load of nothing, and I mean nothing. Dozens of other NSAIDS and betablockers and 1000's of dollars in neurological test didn't, either.
I believe the stressors along with mood problems from the phentermine totally exacerbated my depression and I was a wreck...a size 9/10, but a moody mess. In July I went to the doctor and was prescribed Effexor XR 37.5 and had stopped the phentermine. The Effexor helped tremendously even though I was only on the lowest dose. Basically, I stopped crying all the time and wasn't so anxious and irritable. Everything improved. Initially I had some difficulty sleeping and nausea, but this subsided.
My current Dr also prescribed phentermine. I believe it's suppose to give you an energy boost and with the current reaction to the initial reaction I'm afraid that it might make it worse. Any suggestions or similar reaction?
Have been very ill, back hurting, seeing chiropractor and eventurally massage; took phentermine and almost immediately got a back ache. Not sure if this is what caused it but I stopped taking it all together to see what happened. Went to Chiropractor for adjustment lower back and felt better for 2-days; returned again 2-days later with upper back ache and headache. Felt better for 4-days and had a migrane, Dr. sent me to ER and got a CatScan (had tumor in thyroid in 2000) and Dr.
I have also ran out and have been without it for several days and the side effects are awful lots of vertigo and nightmares,I have also gained weight and just don't feel like when I do take it like I and suppose to which is 99% of the time that it is all that great . My Dr. told me nothing about how difficult it was to come off of and I am pretty upste about it, sorry I dont have any answer for you but if you figure it out let me know thanks!
About six months ago my left neck began to hurt and I noticed what I thought was a lump there. I went to a head and neck specialist and he said that I had inflammtion of my Carotid artery(Carotidynia). The lump, I guess, was just the bifurcation of my artery that was swollen. The doctor told me to take an anti-inflammatory(ibuprophen) for 2 weeks. The pain finally diminished, but about a month later it started in my right neck.
Another differential could be hemiplegic migraine which may present with muscle weakness or paralysis, headache, pins-and-needles feeling, numbness on one side of your body, loss of balance and coordination, visual aura, language difficulties, such as mixing words or trouble remembering a word, slurred speech, dizziness, nausea/vomiting, confusion and decreased consciousness. Talk to your doctor about this for proper evaluation. Preventive medications and avoidance of triggers may also help.

My DD is 8 weeks old and I went to the dr. Thurs. and had a IUD put in. She told me to use another form of BC until I went back in 1 week to have it checked to make sure it was in the correct place. We had been using condoms but Sat. night we had a little to drink and didn't use any protection. DH did pull out at the end. But I am still a little scared. My first DD is a result of the pull out method. I have not had a period since I deliverd and I am not breast feeding.
I'm 28 going through menopause. I am now on Bioidentical hormones and I want to be happy but I feel so angry - nothing in my life is right! I know that my boyfriend loves me and our two kids but still think he's wanting something else or I'm not good enough for him or maybe he's mad at me or resents me but not sure why. I make myself mad and he walks into it - what can I do........ These are my test results and all meds I'm on. Test Results: Testosterone, Serum 52 ng/dL Progesterone 1.
I started having nausea, on Tuesday, which was somewhat relieved by vomiting Tuesday evening. However, I have continued having nausea every day since then which begins in the morning and lasts all day, whether or not I eat. Some days I have vomited others I haven't. I do get more nauseous when standing and even more nauseous the longer I stand in one place, which also makes me light headed & increases my headache pain. I went to my doctor Friday.
Sweating and central chest pain (and other things like nausea and vomiting) are indicators of a heart attack, an acute ischemic condition in which blood flow is restricted or badly blocked. This is an emergency. By contrast, inability to do normal things points to a heart whose pumping ability is compromised. The condition can be chronic ischemia, and you often get a different kind of pain called angina with it: http://www.mayoclinic.

By the way the patient has improved dramatically but is still on four different glaucoma medications and one dilating drop. He is nowhere close to a full recovery and I suspect that he will probably have long term negative effects from the attack. If you are on Topamax or considering taking it, please be aware that it can cause acute myopia, choroidal effusions, acute angle closure glaucoma and severe vision loss.

Well, I take Topamax , synthoid and vitamin D and don't get nausea from any of them. But I'm sure it isn't from the synthroid and I doubt from the vitamin D. The Topamax could be causing this. What dose are you on? There are better anti nausea meds you can try. I just switched to Trokendi XR (which is extended release topriamate). It has helped a lot with my memory issues but it initially caused a lot of fatigue but that is going away. It is expensive but they give you a coupon card to start.
I remember taking Phentermine 3 years ago and it work a miracle. I went 5 times the first day. Unfortunately most doctors won't event consider writing and Rx for it. What could be up with me? I have also gained 20 pounds in the last year. Can the poor digestion be related? Improving my thyroid levels hasn't helped in any way. Desperate for answers.
