I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.

d never recommend phentermine, even though it does work for weight loss. The problem is that when people stop taking it, they almost always gain back everything they lost, plus some.

Find a weight loss doctor in your area to prescribe it for you. Search weight loss clinics for you area, or bariatric doctors, etc. That is how I found a doc close to me..... Those are not drugs you need to be buying online, especially since you don't know what the real thing looks like or how it affects you.

I went to see my doctor and he put me on phentermine 37.5mg once a day and topamax 23 mg in half doeses twice dailey. I also take adderall 20mg twice Dailey. m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

You make a great point that weight loss medication like phentermine is not a long term weight loss solution. If you do go back to old habits, you might expect to gain back the weight that you lost. d say your weight loss is due more to your diet/exercise change than to the B12/phentermine....... as I said before, I take weekly B12 shots and they do nothing for weight loss. I've had the same reactions to the phentermine..ive been taking mine since june 25th, and the day i started taking it, i got on the treadill at home and did some interval training for 30 min and the next morning i had lost 4 pounds (i used to do the lipo b shots too, but wasnt at that time) and the first week n a half, i wouldnt eat a thing unless i reminded myself to eat. it was like the part of my body that creates those hunger pains had just dissappeared?!?!

Are you having trouble losing weight on the Phentermine alone? I am on this too 15 mg twice a day. It isn't a complete stop appetite pill. I started out taking it once a day in the morning. Then later twice per day. I helps me to control how much I eat. I started in January and now I'm 37 pounds down. But before I started to take this medicine I got away from red meats, sweets, white bread. Basically carbs all around. That got me into a good eating habit.

My daughter and son-in-law were both on phentermine for a few months. Neither of them lost huge amounts of weight and when they went off the pills, they gained back everything they lost, plus some. i was on topamax and it was horrible for me. i lost 2 much weight. your doc should have checked your thyroid befor putting u on that drug because it could have been the cause of your headaced. did u check your thyroid before getting on the drug? thyroid gland can cause problems like headache and hair loss and other symptoms.

s side effects are commonly confused with weight loss. Side effects are loss of appetite, however this may affect people in different ways. And being that this is just a side effect of the drug, and not the purpose of the drug itself, it does not mean that it will neccessarily happen. Sometimes the brain is so powerful that it can override the drugs side affects of appetite suppression. Truthfully, some people happen to lose weight while on the drug, some people don't.
