Phentermine and running

Common Questions and Answers about Phentermine and running

phentermine

I went to clinic to get phentermine and B-12 shot. First day I took it, NO HUNGER, Great Right? Well immediately I got a very strong pain in my back. Thought maybe I picked up something that hurt me, but I had not. The following day I took my second pill and it got so bad, I ended up going to the chiropractor (twice), massage therapist and eventually into the Emergency Room with a severe headache (felt like a migrane).
I have taken phentermine in the past and it works and would like to try it again. I have ordered online before but now I am afraid of all the stories of fake meds and ripoffs, does anyone have any experience with a legit site. I would really appreciate any input.
I know the first day I took the phentermine I was sweaty and hunched over the toilet and felt the same way you are claiming. I was scared to ever touch it again. I started taking half and half and worked my way up to a full. I gave myself about 2 weeks. I probably could've in a week, But I hated that feeling! If you are drinking any caffine or alcohol I would say minimize it. It might be raising your blood pressure to make you feel so bad. I have cut it out completely!
Abrupt stoppage of the drug can cause withdrawal with fatigue and depression. Phentermine is potentially addicting. Phentermine is not recommended for patients with symptomatic heart disease including rhythm problems. SIDE EFFECTS: Side effects include diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation, an unpleasant taste, hives, impotence, palpitations, high blood pressure, and fast heart rates. Central nervous system side effects include overstimulation, insomnia, restlessness, tremor, and dizziness.
When I would need to be active I would use OTC Metabolife or energy drinks by the gallon just to feel somewhat normal for the next few days until my body adjusted! Phentermine and Bontril and a HORRIBLE drug and have a much longer half life than when I would stop taking my Schedule II Ritalin!!! My advice is to sleep as much as possible and than use supplements for a few days. It does work! Than stay the hell away from them!!! I finally broke the habit almost 2 yrs ago.
A part of me knows I need help, and I need to straighten out, but the other half wants to keep acting up, and running off, and stealing to get some klonopin or adderall when I can't have my speed. I am high right now writing this.. I really wish I could get help. I try and I try, but it doesn't help. :/ I got to the point, where I was peeing blood, and I wasn't even on my period. I was constantly moving when I was off the pills, and I lie, and do a lot of bad stuff just for one pill.
They do make you feel full most of the time, but they do not take the cravings away like phentermine. I have ordered the phentermine and awaiting them. I lost 80 pounds on the phentermine 2 years ago and have not gained any of it back. I have decided to lose about 15 more so I thought I would try them again.
My cousin and I started this program in AZ and have been on it for about a month and a half. Both of us have lost about 14 lb. so far. We take the phentermine and B-12 shots and we are also going to start the chromate (appetite suppressant). We both noticed that after a while the effectiveness of the phentermine starts to diminish. We feel more hungry than we did before.
I'm 15 and I used to abuse phentermine. My mom was taking it, and I found a medical book and I looked it up and saw that you could get high from it. Every weekend, I would take 8 out of her bottle, and eat em all up.. I couldn't sleep for days on end.. I had to sit in one spot, and I couldn't drink water even, or else I would throw it back up. Once, I got up, to walk into the living room, and my mom was standing there, I said something, then turned around and passed out.
MY FIRST APPT WAS ON 1/15 AND I WAS PRESCRIBED 30MG OF PHENTERMINE AND 37.5 MG OF PHENDIMETRIZINE PER DAY. I AM ALSO ON A LOW CARB/ NO SUGAR DIET. (WHICH IS KINDA HARD AT FIRST) I WAS ALSO GIVEN WATER PILLS BUT IT'S NOT A MUST THAT I TAKE THEM..I HAVEN'T SO FAR. I HAVE NOT TRIED THE B-12 SHOT YET B/C I'M AFRAID OF IT KEEPING ME UP AT NIGHT. I FIGURE IF I HIT A PLATEU WITH MY WEIGHT LOSS, I WILL TRY IT THEN TO SPEED UP MY METOBILSM. SO AT MY FIRST VISIT I WEIGHED IN AT A LITTLE OVER 217 LBS.
It is getting harder to do that now(they want a doc prescription) look in your yellow pages for weight loss clinics. there you will see a doc and they will ask you health questions, then they will give you phentermine. Or, if you have medical insurance and are over 26 Body mass index (BMI) then your doc can prescribe it and your insurance can pay for it! Good Luck.
I had a gastric bypass in 2001 and lost 250 pounds, then my husband and I started fertility treatments and it made me gain 85 pounds back that I could not get rid of even only eating 4 oz of food at a time. On Valentine's day I started the Phentermine and B12 shots and after 1 week I had lost 9 pounds and my energy was outrageous.
I have been taking Phentermine for 5 weeks and have lost 25 pounds. Yes, you might want to try something else, although I would give it another chance. I take 1 pill (37mg.) when I wake up and a 1/2 at 1:00. My pills are white with blue spots. Good Luck and keep us posted!
I copied and pasted some info for you to consider; Do not take phentermine if you have used an MAO inhibitor which is one of a potent class of medications used to treat depression, such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) within the past 14 days. Serious, life-threatening side effects can occur if you take phentermine before the MAO inhibitor has cleared from your body.
I know this is all just based on speculation, but the weight gain this past month is crazy! It is depressing me - and I am not thrilled with the idea of taking phentermine to shed these pounds. And there really isn't anymore modification to my diet I can make as I am pretty much eating cardboard as it is.
I'm kind of curious if the medicine is keeping you(and me) from sleeping well and in turn you are just exhausted. I have alot of weight to lose and the phentermine worked very well at cutting my food intake down from what I'd been eating. I just don't know if I like the way I feel during the day. Jittery and high strung to say the least. Sorry I'm not much help. I know someone else will have a better answer for you.
I burn 250 calories 5 days a week on the treadmill running and walking at 4.0-4.5 mph. I cycle 3 miles 3 days a week and I work with freehand weights. I told him this and then he said "Take more supplements!" I don't take just anything without doing research, in fact I even called the manufacturer of the supplements and asked about them before taking them and they told me point blank to never take more than the recommended dose.
I am one of the unlucky ones that took the Phentermine way back when and it created some heart issue (minor) and also thyroid disease in me so I won't go the pill route. Thanks in advance for any info anyone might have...
Lost over 80 lbs on combination of Adderall and Wellbutrin, with the help of running and eating half portions, and kept off for 2 years until this past year.....have gained 20-30 back, don't have as much energy and control of my OCD as before. I am now on Topamax for my severe migraines....while still taking Adderall and Wellbutrin, hoping to cease taking those soon. Also hoping will help my compulsive binge eating and make me feel normal again! Just on the 3rd day of Topamax.
The hardest part was not just the weight gain, but the way it changed my propotions. I was never skinny and never will be, but running very hypo for a year caused a major weight gain. And it's been hard for me to deal with. For a long time I had to make myself go out in public and some days it really is hard to do, but I try to remember that I didn't do this to myself, and anybody who looks at me and sees nothing but a fat person has no idea about everything I've been through.
low carbs. I take 37.5 mg. of Phentermine for appetite control which works well doing its job and w/o feelings of being shaky or heart racing. Extremely dry mouth is only side effect. I record all calories to ensure I do not exceed my limit. Obviously, I need to be taking more shots. Research has shown that every takes at least 3 a week. Again, thanks for you response. It is truly appreciated. Hope to here from you about the other thing.
he is truly an inspiration to us all...hang in there and Thomas and Wizard can give you their testomonials and help you out with their suggestions......
I've been taking 500mg metformin myself and I have not experienced any weight loss. I am actually taking it for diabetes treatment. But it has not helped with my weight loss.
I was prescribed Topamax along with an appetite suppressant (Adipex) for weight loss a bit over a year ago and stopped taking them after two and a half months. I did not lose all of the weight I had wanted to, but most of it. I had gained 55 pounds while on Paxil over the course of two and a half years. By taking a combination of the two medicines, I lost 22 pounds the first month, 10 pounds the second month, and 8 pounds the first half of the third month.
I believe the stressors along with mood problems from the phentermine totally exacerbated my depression and I was a wreck...a size 9/10, but a moody mess. In July I went to the doctor and was prescribed Effexor XR 37.5 and had stopped the phentermine. The Effexor helped tremendously even though I was only on the lowest dose. Basically, I stopped crying all the time and wasn't so anxious and irritable. Everything improved. Initially I had some difficulty sleeping and nausea, but this subsided.
I am taking phentermine and will get a b-12 shot here soon. I take half a pill in the morning and the second half in the afternoon. I have high blood pressure that is controlled and my doctor said that this is the best way for me to take the phen so that my blood pressure would not go up and so far it is working out great. With the phen I am not hungry but I force myself to eat, high protein meals. You may want to look into taking phentermine.
trial offer and I believe you get a total of 55 capsules, that's almost a 2 month supply. To me it's cheaper than going to my Doctor and begging for another script of Phentermine. I am also combining the Nopalinaza that my mom found at Northgate and that's helping me be regular once again. I feel like running a marathon haha. And I am even starting to feel SEXY again. BTW the pills contain B6 that's always a plus in my book.
shortness of breath, wheezy, tightness in the chest, like some warm blanket has wrapped up my lungs and heart, panic, twitching, hot/cold and insomnia. Perhaps that ‘online’ phentermine wasn't fake after all, and is not meshing well with other medications? This was my thoughts yesterday however since I've not taken anything that could interfered since Monday night I find it odd the symptoms have not stopped.
Some say, why don’t we save the millions of dollars spent on drug research and instead invest them in education, legislation, and regulations that will help us eat better and exercise more? Put the money towards the health costs of the uninsured. Or, use it to fund research in diabetes, heart disease, or any of the other countless complications of obesity. But is it too early to admit defeat?
I am now 35 days clean of Vicodin.... due to staying in jail for a day and seeing what mess I had caused my family...and most importantly MYSELF and MY LIFE! It took me getting caught to realize this and I knew it was my "rock bottom" and the only way out was to get clean and stay clean. It was pure he** for about 2 weeks, but I can honestly say that I feel soooo.... much better and am finally living a normal ,happy, free life..."drug free life"!
