Avatar f tn im tring yoga, but after a couple days i am ready to quit from the pain. does it get better or should i quit.
Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn Thanks! Do you all take regular yoga or prenatal ? I already joined a gym and they have yoga classes a few days a week but not prenatal yoga.
Avatar n tn i want to ask that if yoga therapy is the best way of losing weight.
Avatar m tn You will have a few weeks running into around 3 months of healing to do and with you getting more active within this period after your op. Yoga is normally seen to be a good exercise to do when you have POP and even after healing fully from a POP op but no positions that increase abdominal pressure are seen as advisable as these will put pressure on your op site etc., For example, planking or stomach crunches are out.
Avatar f tn m doing yoga, my period became regular again! o.o I did some research on the internet though, and I found out that stress can cause serious hormonal problems. So if you have a stressful life too, I would recommend yoga. I don't really used to believe in these kind of stuff, but it worked for me, and it's easy and free, there are tons of hatha yoga videos on youtube you can follow. I hope I could help you! And sorry for my English, I'm from Eastern Europe.
Avatar f tn The best way you can get that answer is to see how your body reacts - most people need to avoid food in the period just before and after working out, whether it be yoga or other forms of exercise. Good for you wanting to do something like yoga.
Avatar n tn I had a very strange period this past month... it wasn't red blood... only brown blood. I have never in my 31 years experienced this before. Anyone ever had this, is it normal? what could it be from?
Avatar f tn I always do yoga like stretches b4 I jump on my road bicycle. Sometimes I do Tai-chi-chuan after yoga. I get my exercise by biking on avg 150-200 miles a week. The key is to slowly build up your exercise routine so that you don't make it strenuous. Diabetic weight lifters have a hard time at this. Amy has the right idea by mix matching her exercise programs.
1900462 tn?1352775302 When did you guys start your prenatal yoga classes? Is it better to start your yoga as soon as you can so you can strengthen your pelvic muscles for labor later on or what? I was thinking it would be better to do it earlier and continue throughout the pregnancy but idk. What do you guys think?
Avatar f tn So I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have to find a new way to exercise. I I've in Wisconsin and the wind shield is already below ten. So it's too cold for me to be going on daily walks. Would yoga be a good alternative? Or what can I do as an alternative so I'm still getting my exercise.
10033740 tn?1458081962 I just recently heard about pregnancy yoga. I'm thinking about buying a couple DVDs so that I can do this at home. I'm currently a stay at home mom, 12wks + 3, with my second child after 9yrs. I just wanna stay active and also fit for labor. Anybody try it before?
Avatar f tn Has anyone had success with the yoga ball or exercise ball on inducing labor ?
10028419 tn?1416841704 Last week i wasnt thinned or dilated and i know sex helps which ive been doing lol but i have a yoga ball and i was gonna try bouncing a little on it and rolling around moving my hips. Would this help move my progress along? Or am i wasting my time?
Avatar f tn Hi ladies! Maybe I'm the last person to discover this but I was shopping yesterday for sports bras I can sleep in - my boobs are sorest in the morning when I wake up. I'm petite but boobs are big, but the problem with most sports bras is they are meant for sports, hello, so they actively compress. I stumbled upon what turned out to be a yoga bra ($5 on clearance!) and it's PERFECT. Not a lot of fabric or compression but just enough support for sleeping and lounging.
Avatar f tn I practice yoga already and today I decided to purchase pregnancy yoga DVDs in particular. I just completed one and it was beautiful. I love the focus on baby while remembering the beauty of self. Creating space for him, aligning myself with baby. I loved it. If anyone is looking for a gentle and beautiful workout.. Prenatal and postnatal, YOGA.
Avatar f tn how many if you have done prenatal yoga. U didn't do it with my first but I did with my last and recently started back up. It seems to be more difficult this go round.
