I haven't had a period since before Halloween and I've taken two pregnancy tests two weeks apart from each other and both are negative. I don't feel pregnant at all. I was on birth control since June 2011 and stopped it October of this year. I was told that it would take a little while for my period to come back but the doctor said it shouldn't have taken this long. So, I thought that if I was pregnant I would at least have some symptoms but I don't.
Why haven't I got my period for 1 months and a half? The last period I recevied was on Thanksgiving last year.I know I am not pregnant because i just had my tubes tied and burned in 2006. I am still tired, cramps lower back, and my right breast itching.

I have always had sort of irregular periods but never so much as now and I am definitely not pregnant. The last time I had a period was 2 days of very light spotting in January and I honestly don't remember the last time I had it before that but I think it was around August or September. I don't know how serious this is or whether I should go see a doctor or just let it resolve itself. What should I do and what could be causing my irregular periods?
if you took 2 pregnancy tests and a blood test, it is almost certain you are not pregnant. if you still do not start your period in the next few weeks, go back to your doctor so that they can rule out any medical problems.
if you are TTC you may have to get on medicine to regulate your cycles and help you ovulate.
s, I had a couple of long stretches with no period like you describe. I too was stressed at the time. It turned out that my hormones were out of whack. In my situation, I was producing too much estrogen. My thyroid was out of whack as well I had hypothyroidism. Often if someone is anxious or depressed (even minimally as it didn't really interfere with my life and I didn't seek medical treatmen for it, it was just a difficult time)--- the thyroid gets involved.
I just CANT be pregnant. i have started getting period pains, but no bleeding, and am waking up feeling nauseous, although i am perfectly able to eat. there are no cravings etc.
PLEASE help me, as i am only 20 and do not talk 2 the boy who i had sex with anymore...so i do not need to be pregnant.
i am too scared to take a pregnancy test, or go 2 the doctor.

You will not have a period if you are either on the depo shots or are on a continual birth control pill. The only way to tell is either take a hpt or see your doctor.
Go to the doc for a blood test if you think you are pregnant.
Yeah I guess we all are. I still havnt had one but found out on Monday that I'm pregnant. Well the tests say that I am. I'm so nervous that I'll have a scan and there will be no heart beat.
