since 2 months ago my mom suffred from pain in knee joint .....she cant use to stand after sitting ......she use to take pain killers as well but thers not any knida progress .... she didnt get over weighted as if i say it may b the reason of her pain. shez 55 yrs. so tell me any treatment any medication or excersice or woteva u know ......waiting !!!!!

It took 3 months to diagonised and had severe joint pain the entire time. She took the prednisone for about 6 weeks. Her joint pain went away and blood work came back normal. SHe gained alot of weight during the short period so refuses to take it. Her blood work is normal but has mild joint pain everyday and extremely severe about once a week. The GI doctor also says she cant take the prednisone so much because of her age.Can anyone give us some suggestions?

Pain and discomfort / lack of sleep from pain? I have been plagued by sleeplessness from injuries. There is a problem period when the pain starts to decrease -- you get used to taking Tylenol PM or ambien and it takes a few days to adjust but with relaxations techniques it does not take too long to go off of such things. Anyway, those help and so do things like getting up at same time each morning, warm shower before bed.

I had horrible joint pain prior to tx. in all the same places you did,but once starting tx all pain went away. I experienced a horrible resurgence of pain 1 mth post tx.and i just figured i had relapsed, but that was not the case. I txd 96 wks i i feel it had something to do with stopping tx suddenly after being on pegasys for so long without a break. The pain went away 3rd mth post tx. and has never returned. 17mth svr now.

About two weeks after my low risk exposure from the stripper and about 6 weeks after another low risk exposure (kiss on the razor burned cheek from a stripper who kissed about 6 other men right before me) I began to have moderate to severe joint pain especially in my hands and feet but mostly in my feet. The last treatment landed me in the Hospital for a week with MRSA being that my immune system was so low. I was sick all the time, not to mention the sides from the tx. Hey 18761jones, I am coming off my 2nd course of accutane. The first course I was on 80 mg per day. for about 4 months before the mental side effects made me stop. I was having weird thoughts and could tell I was not myself. The second course lasted about 5 months, same dosage less side effects. IT DID CLEAR MY ACNE, better than any antibiotic or other popular or unpopular treatment. I had tried them all, diets, over-the-counter meds, etc.

I had my period about four days ago but still i have this lower abdominal pain that ruins my days sometimes left sometimes right sometimes both and its real painfull through my lower back and its like my ovary and everything inside are goin to burst out with my period :'( .. Saw the dr Monday. She said joint pain is normal and due to swelling. Also said there's not much to be done about it. But I've read watching your sodium intake helps. She also said it will be worse with warmer weather, so soon as the temperatures drop, swelling will go down. Just be sure to take your rings off before they get stuck on ;). Magda: I did read where excessive swelling is an issue and should be brought to dr's attention. Oh and the soles of my feet hurt everyday!

When I was 14ish, my collarbone dislocated at the Sternoclavicular joint... where your collarbone and breast bone meet. Ever since then, my SC joint would dislocate constantly throughout the day (pretty much with any arm movement... 15-20 times a day?)
