Sounds like you have to count your cycle dates... first date of your period to the first date of your second period and so on. A normal cycle is approx. 28 days. Every woman is different.

Is it possible for a woman to start her cycle early? Like a week earlier for the first time?

Could just be your cycle changing but if it's different to your normal period then take a test in a week or 2 or if you miss a period take a test then

I don't think it means anything. Just that your cycle may have changed. Have you changed birth controls or do anything different?

So usually my period comes four days after I finish the active pills (Wednesday) But this month out of the blue it started the day after I finished the active pills (Sunday) I have been taking the same bc pills for going on three years and I have never had an early period before. Learned that I have an average of a 25day cycle.. Does that mean I ovulate soon after my period? Been trying to conceive for a month now.. I normally do not have sex, however, last month I had protected sex 3 days before my period, and had my regular period on time. This month, I started spotting about 8 days before my expected period and then had heavier bleeding 4 days before my expected period. I did not take my last active pill on the pack because of the bleeding. The flow is similar to my normal period, and I have experienced my normal mood swings and PMS symptoms this month. I suggest visiting your gynecologist/doctor for advice and an exam as soon as possible. Anytime you experience anything unusual about your cycle, such as heavy bleeding or an irregular cycle w/ blood clots, it's always good to make an appointment to see your doctor as soon as you can.

Your period coming early could be due to a number of things (stress, medication, hormones, etc.). I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It is but it can also be your period coming. I knew I was pregnant a few days to a week before missing my period because I was constipated. I was never constipated in the days before my period. Quite the opposite so that was a big sign for me.

My average cycle has been 34 days since removal of IUD. But my body is still adjusting so it ranges. In the past year I've started my cycle a week early and I've been 10 days late. So it varies from 29 to 38 in the past year.

It may be impossible to tell now. your best bet at finding out is getting a blood hcg test done, and see if there are still any pregnancy hormones in your system. however even if there aren't, it's still possible you had an early miscarriage and your levels have already returned to zero. maybe a scan would be a good idea too, to make sure there's nothing in your womb.

Okay, maybe this is TMI...but I'm so stressed out over this. Last month I started my period about four days early. I didn't think much of it. This month I wasn't supposed to start until the 19th. But Sunday night (13th) I started - or so I thought. I had a couple of bright red spots of blood. But then I just had brown spotting for two days, and now it's stopped. You could be just having a weird/off cycle. You could also have a cyst or something like that. I also have to say, you might be pregnant. The fact that you were late and didn't have your normal period and are now cramping, it's a possibility. Definitely see you're doctor to rule out any other issues (like the cyst) but maybe take a pregnancy test in the mean time, just in case.
