Hello,
I am 33 years old and until about 3 months ago my menstrual cycle has been on point.
About 3 months ago I had my normal cycle for the usual 5 days. About 2 weeks after the end of my cycle,
I stating to have some dark brownish red bleeding for 3days (enough for me to insert a tampon but not constant like a "normal" period). The following month I got my "Normal" period about a week after I was due for it. It was normal and I did not bleed mid month.
Sometimes your cycle just changes depending on the girls you hang around (your cycle tends to line up with the women you tend to be near a lot of the time) and sometimes the weather even changes when you get your period. My cycle used to be just like yours (once at the beginning and once at the end) but over time it shifted to me only having one in the middle of the month. It's not really anything to worry about but if you do get bothered by it a lot you could ask a doctor.
Why does my calender cycle keep moving my next period on the red lines I was suppose to get my period on the 22 of February but each day goes by and it tells me my next period day is... now it tells me that my next period is monday February 24. Is my calender cycle not working but I still have not gotten it. This is the first time that it has happen its always on point. What does the red lines mean and the green limes mean too.

Marshkash,if you are experiencing monthly period. That is a regular cycle! Even if its a late or earlier date!

Your cycles were regularly about 37 days long for years, and last time they were 30, and you want to know if this signals a new, permanent change in your cycle length? Hard to say. You could be entering perimenopause, but even then it doesn't mean they will regulate at a new length, they might also get a bit irregular overall.
Given that you are seeing brown discharge, I'd expect your period to begin by tomorrow night.
Taking plan B is notorious for causing your cycle to be irregular. It's a big dose of hormones and it will mess up your hormonal balance. You will likely be late next time you expect your period. This can go on for 2 to 3 months. All normal from plan b.
I haven't had a cycle for 2 months now. After the first month of missing my cycle, I took a pregnacy test and it was negative. The second month is now here and it's still not here. One week ago there were some light pinkish fluid and on christmas it happened again but I didnt have a cycle. At times i cramp like im about to have a cycle but never do. My breast are sore now like im about to start but I dont know what else to do but go to a doctor. What advice could you give me?
i got my last period on 18th october and i was supposed to get my period on November 14th or 15th.Then i got period symptoms but i didnt get period.i took home pregnancy test on 24th and it was negative and also i got my period that day itself. 25th was my second day n there was no bleeding all(normally2nd of my periods it bleeds )why is this change so ???what should i do ???

One possible cause of a lighter, shorter period is that the body didn't produce the normal amounts of progesterone during that cycle, which is the hormone associated with thickening the uterine lining. You shouldn't be too concerned, but if it becomes a pattern and you're trying to become pregnant, a progesterone supplement may be necessary for successful implantation.
Having worse pain then usual with my period this time which was also later then usual and going on for longer,it started as light spotting for a few days but just got heavier today and yesterday, have painful bloating and
the need to urinate more often aswell, what could cause this?
Has anyone else have a due date change. I went from May 12th to May 18th. A little disappointed but glad my little girl is during great.
I know it can be a scary thought but its vital that you take a test especially since you missed your period for two months and then had a very unusual light period. Once you take the test you can go from there on what you'll need to do. If you aren't pregnant then it might've been from stress but I would probably go to the doctor and ask what it could've been from.
There are multiple things that can cause you to be late such as stress, change in schedule, weight gain or loss, etc. If your cycle is always the same there is a larger chance. If it fluctuates a little then possibly not. Easiest way is to take a test, it can detect it the week you are late and some a week before.
A calender can't tell you when you ovulate - it can guess but it's not 100% accurate. Our bodies change each cycle and hormone levels fluctuate and so you don't always ovulate on the same date each month.
With regards to whether to mark this as cycle day 1, I would wait and see what the bleeding does. If it stops then it's most likely just caused by the sex. It has to be an actual flow (light, medium or heavy - not spotting) to count as the first day of your period.
A week or two later I got my period on the 2nd it is now the 11th and my period is STILL on, I have blood clots and I bleed so heavy I change tampons every hour or two. What is wrong with me? Is it because I missed my period and my body is shedding old blood??
Oh and the blood clots are dark red almost blackish red to me.
