period cycle after abortion

Abortion on April 6,my first bleeding was light within the following week, my second was more like a period. It was 4 days long, April 20. Should I assume that I am a 28 cycle or 30 cycle. I was before 30 day cycle. I need to know so I can take a pregnancy test. This pregnancy is a keeper.I had unprotected sex a day before my fertile start and a day later after ovulation.4/29-5/5, ovulation 5/4. I took a test on the 18th, which would have been 28 day cycle it was negative.

My normal period started on November 20I guess that was my last period. I was wondering if your cycle remains the same and I should get a period January or close to it. The abortion was. HUGE mistake none the less it happened. Just not sure when I should expect my next period. Any info would be appreciated. Also when will be my fertile days.

re not fertile, a woman is generally fertile about 14 days after her period, so I highly doubt pregnancy is the problem here, however it only does take one time, so make sure you use protection for more reasons than just an unplanned pregnancy.

Okay question??? Why have you had unprotected sex after an abortion!??!!??!!? I have had one & I am quite sure you dont want to do that again!!!...So i suggest no more of that!!!! But that sounds very wierd & you should go see a doctor immediatly... ur supposed to have a period 4 to 6 weeks after ur abortion & you should have went back or called the place you got it at & told them!!

It was negative. Yesterday would have been period, if i was to use the 30 cycle. But since the abortion, it might have changed. I have no idea when I ovulated. I completely screwed everything up as far as consistency with my period.

I started my period on the sixth of this month, had unprotected sex on the 12th (the day after my period was over). My cycle is on average 23 days. I took the plan b pill less than 24 hours after the unprotected sex. It's now about a week later and I'm bleeding-very light flow kinda brownish pink in color. Also, from what I remember, the active pills have the hormones and once you finish a cycle of active pills, you take the placebo pills, which will eventually trigger your body to have a period. Taking the placebo pills without first taking the cycle of active pills will not trigger a period. Placebo pills don't contain any hormones/etc.

I had a miscarriage in january of 08, since then the doctors told me to wait after one cycle and i could start trying again, my husband at the time was still in paris working. I am 25 and he is 31 yrs old. like she said it may take up t 6 months for u to get ur first period!if after 6 months u still havent got a period then i would consult a dr just to find out y u havent!when u had the abortion u should have been given antibiotics and been asked back for a check up to check nothing was left behind!th antibiotics would have been all the tablets u needed unless they found an infection or something that required a further course of tablets!

It might sound silly but surely 2 years after the abortion my body should have fully regulated again but why have I had such drastic changes with my periods. Do you think it could have affected my fertility? I also notice I do not ovulate every month anymore either. Feel like I have dry spells with occasional ovulation every 2-3 months. I had a abortion after 8 wks of pregnancy and aborted it as the foetus heart beat was missing. This was done on July 26 and till today i did not have my periods and no signs of it also.. Hi, If you used the abortion pill Mifeprex, it can take up to 6 weeks - generally 3 to 6 weeks after using this pill. I've also read it can take up to 8 weeks. If you took the "morning after" abortion pill, your period should be due around 4 weeks after taking it, but everyone varies in times.

omg i did medical abortion. & 1st period was kinda heavy like medical abortion bleeding was. but 2nd period now is brown and 10 drops 1day and 4 drops 2nd day.....this is crazy abnormal. no cramping just slight left ovarian pain 3 and 1 day before "period" for 30min-hr felt like i just wanted a warm heat pack. other than that nothing. weird. if i remember, i'll come back & tell u about days 3+ if i have any!!

Well, while I have to say that I have no real sympathy for people who have an abortion and say it was painful, I guess my advice to you would be to get some health insurance through your state and go see an OBGYN - or call planned parenthood and ask REAL health professionals those kinds of questions.

Give your body time, wait for your period and then go from there. I got pregnant after the first period of both of my miscarriages. Definitely give yourself time.

its just four days late after my period. I had sex 22 days before. Do u think its very late that pills wont work? i dont want to have an abortion.. issnt there any other way out?
