At what point in pregnancy did you get your due date, and how was it determined? If it was by an early ultrasound (within your first trimester), the dates given by Dominique will be reliable. If it was just computed on a calendar from the first day of your last period, they might not be as reliable.
if i have a period on the 29th will i be ovulating on the 13th of the month and also i have ovarian csts can i concieve a child please help
I know that many women experience spotting early in pregnancy due to egg implantation, and then again around the time that their period is supposed to come because the embryo splits into two, creating the baby and the placenta. I would take a pregnancy test if I were you, just to be sure.
they can be signs of pregnancy but also signs of your period comming, but you could most def be pregnant going on your previous post
INTRODUCTION This week your baby is undergoing some extraordinary changes and developments. The head, heart, spinal cord, and some of the larger blood vessels begin to form. As these blood vessels form, the heart begins to pump fluid through them, and your baby's first red blood cells are created. Your baby is about 7 - 9 mm or 0.27 - 0.35 inches in length, (approximately the size of a grain of rice), and weighs about 1/30 of an ounce - less than a breath mint.
Your testing too early... They recommend ten day past ovulation.
You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex or after a missed period, as both should give you an accurate result. Take a test at the right timing and use first morning urine, then go from there. Are you trying to get pregnant?
Don't worry that is a safe day to have sex. If your periods are regular than use this ovulation calendar at www.ladytimer.com and it will tell you when it's safe to have sex and when it's not safe.
I think 10 days prior to your period is much too early, you can test about a week before your period but it's still not as accurate as testing closer to when your period is due.
Ovulation calendar they even have a app.
You could wait a couple more days and test again. Also, stress or several other things could be the cause of a late period. Hang in there and good luck.
It takes the average, healthy couple 6 months to get pregnant, a year is considered totally normal if you are under 35. Most likely you are having sex at the wrong time in your cycle. From the time your period stops you should have sex every other day to help catch that window for ovulation. If you start tracking your cycles (taking temperatures, marking your calendar, paying attention to cervical mucous texture, etc.) it will help pinpoint when you should be having sex.
I said what I did because you had a period, and periods generally mean the woman is not pregnant, and those home tests are only 45% accurate (in the worst case) at telling you how far along you are. Here is from the Clearblue website, as you can see it basically tells you that you can't rely on the results. ____ "The Weeks Estimator result is determined by the level of hCG in your urine.
I don't know if bleeding causes any effect to the tests but I started testing before I even had my period cuz I knew I was pregnant and they were all negative until a while after I had my period. Okay geting out the calendar now because I really don't know exact time frames unless I use it.......Okay I was 3 weeks pregnant when I started my period. I knew I had to be pregnant and started testing about 4 or 5 days before that period. Then the period came so thought maybe I wasn't pregnant.
If your periods have been fairly regular and you have been having regular unprotected intercourse, then you have about 80-90 percent chance of conceiving within 1 year. Of those people, I believe something like 70% of them usually conceive within 3 months. Using the "calendar method" to determine ovulation is not very reliable. Most women DO NOT ovulate on day 14. If you know precisely when you ovulate this will help you time your sex better.
did you have any pregnancy symptom? I just saw on the calendar that I had my last period on April 13th. And I've been vomiting for the past two weeks. Any feedback would be appreciated.
My doctors advice was if you count the first day of your period as day number 1 to wait and have sex on the 12th 14th 16th and 18th day. Does that make sense?
Called linea negra. There is a pregnancy calendar on www.pregnancy.org, if anyone's interested. Have a pleasant pregnancy and healthy baby everyone!
Having a period means you are shedding the lining of your uterus. So I would say, it's not normal nor possible. Some bleeding can be considered within normal limits and so can some types of cramps. If you feel like this is a REAL period, and the bleeding and cramping are plentiful, I would suggest contacting your OB for a check. How far along are you?
If you had sex on cycle day 14 and 15 counting cycle day 1 as the first day of your last period, then you would have a better chance of pregnancy. You need to have sex on cycle days 12-15 (alternating every other day) counting cycle day one as the first day of your period to catch the egg. Also, not all women ovulate exactly in the middle of their cycle, some are earlier and some are later.
Do you ladies know what website offers a free menstrual cycle calendar for me to download to my computer and my phone? I’m not looking for a tracker. You know, it’s more like a calendar that tells you what your fertile days are and such. Any thoughts? I keep searching but can’t seem to find a free one.
This happened to me also. Negative pregnancy tests and I had never been late. I wasn't pregnant and never figured out why my period was so late. Sometimes when you worry about it or even think you may be or want to be pregnant you can make your body do weird things. I would say the negative HPT's are probably a good indicator that you are not pregnant, as it did in my case a few months ago.
I just stopped taking the pill in March, had a normal cycle in April, and have not had a period since ( it is now June 6). I have taken 3 HPT and all have been negative. My husband and I are trying to plan when conception will occur, but because of my missed period, I don't know when my fertile time frame is. I had been using a fertility calendar to determine this, but now I can't. I am not trying to conceive right away. What should I do?
